Stayed Aug 30, 2025pretty amazing location with well stocked kitchen. maybe could update some mattresses but all decor was tastefully done. loved the easy access to the beach and the view couldnt be beat.

Stayed Aug 2, 2025Great location. It felt remote but you were only a few minutes from everything. The layout of the house worked well for our family. Young family stayed on ground floor. It was like a separate apartment. Grandparents stayed on third floor so they didn't have to climb as many stairs throughout the day. The house was dirty. Granddaughter's knees and hands were black every time she crawled. It was windy and a bunch of sand blew in the pool. We thought someone would come clean it but they didn't. Wifi was horrible. Only a few TVs could be on at the same time. If you have to work while staying here, bring your own hot spot.

Stayed Jun 21, 2025We went to Nags Head, meeting our children and young grandchildren for a weeks vacation. The house was perfect, clean, lots of room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. While we did some sightseeing and tourist things, we mostly hung out at the beach or in the pool. It was a wonderful watching all 3 grandchildren make great strides in their swimming skills.Thank you for providing a base for a vacation to remember!

Stayed Apr 20, 2024Sugar Magnolia was a great house for our two families to stay while on break. Location was great, near by everything. Beach was relaxing, no one really on it. We had the whole beach to ourselves. The house was great with plenty of space for our two families to do whatever we wanted.

Stayed Jul 17, 2021The property was as advertised. There were a few issues. The locks on the sliding glass doors were difficult to operate. The top floor sliding glass door jumped the track mid week, but we were able to rectify. Also, there is some sort of poison, not sure if ivy, oak, or sumac, growing up the northeast corner of the decks and onto the second deck. It has copper leaves that have an oily appearance. We did call maintenance regarding a broken latch on the gate leading from the pool area to the dune deck. They responded the next morning and fixed it immediately and he was very cordial. The WiFi speed could be increased as many times TVs and other devices would need to stop for buffering, and sometimes needed a total reboot. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed this rental.
