5683- Nauti Buoy, Nags Head home with curb appeal and wow factor for your next OBX getaway

Pros-the house is great! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Love that there are two master bedrooms on different levels, along with a living room on each floor. Very close to the beach, easy walk. Close to shopping and restaurants. Probably one of the cleanest rental homes I have ever been to. Cons-really the cons have nothing to do with the rental or the owners. The problem is the rental company. On vrbo it indicates that check in is 3 pm and check out 11 am. However, according to the rental company the check in time is 4-6 pm and checkout is 10am. I mentioned to the reality company the discrepancy and they were less than accommodating about this. Also, when you check into the home, every television indicates that the checkout time is 11 am. I have screen shots of both of these things and shared it with the rental company. They indicate that it’s not their fault that there is a misinformation because you signed a contract stating the times.I asked if it was possible to get a guaranteed check in time of 4 pm as we were all coming from different directions and needed a definite check in time.I was told I could pay 100 for an early check in time.I did not want to check in early, just wanted a confirmed check in time of 4pm.I should not be required to pay extra for that. I have rented homes in numerous countries with numerous different reality companies and have never had a rolling check in time. Also, power went out and reality company wanted me to call to report It

Kitchen was fully equipped. Hot tub was very nice. Beds comfy. Very clean. Only thing was the listing did not show a pet fee of 175, BUT with communication from the realty company, they waived it for us since its NOT in the listing at all. Did you know you can book directly with Reaort Realty and save yourself 10%! I didnt! I love VRBO but that really sucked to learn that. SO go directly to the company website

Great property, very close to the beach. Lots of amenities, a fully stocked kitchen, and very clean. We loved the lower floor with all of the games and hot tub! Easy access to highway to get to other places on the outer banks. It was perfect place for us!

This cottage was in a great location, had plenty of room for all of us, and the kitchen was well stocked with applianes, utensils, etc. We had a fantastic week.

Pool was about 40 yds away, which was perfect! Across the street was the beach access, very easy walk. (Our youngest was 6 yrs old) House was very clean and kitchen well stocked. This house was perfect for our 4 families! Many late night of playing euchre

Great place to say in a lovely home. Quick walk to the beach, and plenty of shopping available nearby. Nice central location on the OBX. Only complaint is the proximity of the main road on the island which could get somewhat loud, but minor overall.

We had a lovely few days here. Great house with lots of room. Property managers were great with any questions we had and answered very quickly. Short walk to the beach and lovely views.The stairs will humble you though, haha. Basics were provided, and there are shops incredibly close for anything you may need that you didn't bring.

Really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this place to anyone

Extremely clean home with comfortable furniture in three different living spaces. Very close to a wide stretch of beach. The access has both a wooden ramp and relatively flat sand dune. We enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets from the many well maintained decks. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The very nice community pool was steps from the house. This was our 30th trip to the Outer Banks and this home is definitely in our three five favorite!

The property was beautiful. Great location. The hot tub and bar area was awesome and the proximity to the beach and pool was perfect. Quiet street on the dead end street. Highway traffic was noisy but nothing that ruined our vacation. . A few pieces of the furniture were damaged prior to our arrival, mostly the ottoman that was missing a leg. The living room furniture in general was dated but comfortable. The only other “issue” we encountered was the “palmetto” bug that took up residency in the pantry and the mold under the kitchen sink. But it is a lovely home and was very clean and comfortable for my whole family.
