53 Greensward Road by Akers Ellis Rentals

My family and i had a wonderful time in this beautiful beach decorated home. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to make it easy for making dinners at home. The location is so close to the bike path and the beach so we really were able to discover a lot of the island. Shopping is not far and has great restaurants and stores. We could even bike to them! The pool was perfectly warmed and a great activity for my kids. We love kiawah!!!

We had a great stay & it was very close to the beach (we biked there everyday). The house was pretty clean and had everything we needed! Lots of space for our 4 kids. We cooked every night on the grill which was great. There was a beautiful view of the golf course while we swam in the pool.

Great home got a large family. Exactly what we needed- we are a family of 9 & brought out nanny. The 10 of us fit perfectly.

Great location, perfect for nearby golf courses, great outdoor/indoor area. Highly recommend!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented from Akers Ellis for many years because of the consistent quality rental properties; unfortunately, this property does not meet the same standards. The pictures show a beautiful, renovated property but what we found was a worn out property in need of a lot of tlc. The floors are sinking in several spots and the ceiling in the primary bedroom has been patched several times with one spot that is sinking in. The bedding in 2 of the bedrooms does not match the photos (in fact we found the bedding from the photos in a crumpled up ball on the floor of the closet) and in the other bedrooms the bedding is worn and stained. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and need to be replaced. The exterior just seems dirty including the upstairs balcony that has piles of leaves on it that look as if they have not been blown off in months. This property is not worth the rental price and should receive a lot of tlc before it is rented out again.

House has been fixed up and kitchen / den area plus porch and pool are great. Bedrooms were just okay. Outside of the house seemed a little unkept and needed a good deep cleaning. Overall seems like a nicely updated house but not kept up as well as it could be overall.

However, the pans for cooking have seen a better day , they were all scratched and not easy to cook with. (Old) There was a shirt tag left in floor in children’s room and the sheets in children’s room had a whole in it and a bandaid wrapper found in bed. Hopefully they had been cleaned? Could have been cleaner and nicer sheets.
