5264OBA: Stunning 7bd Solterra Resort Home w/Priv Facing Pool

Our stay was from Wednesday to Monday for remainder of Thanksgiving week, Once we entered inside of the home, we were greeted with roaches crawling around in the kitchen (we have pictures, please bring roach spray), the pool was not heated (even though we called 2 days prior to arriving to ensure that pool would be heated) some of the TVs did not work, each bathroom had one bath towel and one hand towel (no washcloths so please bring some towels), no floor bath mats to step out the shower on in the bathrooms and We were a group of 12. The amenities were very limited, the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner but no soap, there was no starter kit in the kitchen (small bottle of dishwasher liquid, dish towel or laundry detergent even though Guest Services said it was). Guest Services was called, and she informed us no one could come out until Thursday (Thanksgiving) to check the pool, TV and they would have to call someone to come out Friday to spray for the roaches (we had nowhere else to go). Someone came out on Thursday and stated that the pump was not turned on for the pool and it would be Friday before the pool would be heated and he programmed one of the TV's. Someone came out Friday and placed roach motels in the kitchen, however, the roaches continued to come (we have more pictures). We also called back because the roaches were STILL coming, and pool was STILL not heated. The carpet and walls were dirty. We requested a refund for what we paid for the heated pool and a partial refund of our stay and still no response.

The house was beautiful but few items were broken however they did not interfere with our enjoyment of the place. One of the children rooms there was a broken bed leg, a square dent in dry wall of the same room with the bed having the broken leg. A screen door in the garage with the screen partially removed. A dirty carpet on the stairwell. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Tv in the two kids room one tv will not turn up and the other one was black and saw bug

The house was great the pictures on the website are exactly the same everything was nice the pool was clean the house was clean check in with a very simple and quick they had everything ready for us and our guests we will definitely be back the layout of the house was nice

Really enjoyed our stay. Clean, stocked with linens and theatre was wonderful! Only supplied with 2 trash bags and nothing to handwash dishes. This was a concern as 7 people stayed and we never left the home. Overall, would come back again!

We chose to stay here again because we were very impressed the first time we stayed, but we won't stay again. The house needs a severe deep cleaning, pressure washing and painting on the inside. Walls leading to up stairs were filthy and the bed sheets had obvious stains on them. The bedrooms downstairs never cooled down no matter what the ac was on and we had to use fans. The gas to the stove was off and had to call maintenance. Very disappointed in this stay.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. I would love to rent this home again.

Overall we enjoyed the property Pros: great layout of the house, 7 bedrooms total (4 masters with attached full baths - 2 on the 1st floor, 2 on the 2nd floor; 3 double bedrooms upstairs - one shares bathroom with a master); great location; enough kitchen amenities for a great stay; the property is very nicely decorated and was very clean on arrival; nice patio and pool - even had some pool toys the kids enjoyed; included washer and dryer a great plus for our family; nice community center with pool, waterslide, lazy river, snack bar and tennis court; Cons: projector in movie loft was missing the remote so we were not able to have our planned family movie night. We contacted the management company the day after arrival and did not receive a call back however an employee stopped by 2 days later, he agreed the remote was missing and we were told he would return with a new remote and to fix a rocking toilet, he never returned nor called. We set our trash out every night as instructed but it was never collected, we did report that issue with the employee that came to the house, he said he would report it, trash was still never collected. Scuffs and spots on the walls, just need fresh paint. A few other small fixes not worth mentioning here but were reported. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

The house was dirty, we had to call and have rugs shop vac, walls were dirty, hair in bed sheets, towels were dirty, brown stuff on walls and bathroom doors, jelly on kitchen cupboards. We had to clean the furniture ourselves. We went out and bought lysol wipes and cleaner to clean the house. Roaches in kitchen!! I would never stay here again!!
