Stayed Jun 24, 2025We spent the week celebrating our youngest daughter's graduation from high school and enjoyed the property very much. Walking the path through the dunes to the beach was a no-go due to mosquitoes from early flooding but at no one's fault. We were within a short drive to the beach (thanks for posting about getting our vehicle beach permit). Great view and amenities--we ate in the screened-in porch every day! Highly recommend and would stay there again!

Stayed Jun 18, 2025A real hidden gem on Matagorda Island with an excellent hostess!! Our family could not have asked for a better trip! The home has everything you need, very spacious, is extremely clean, in the perfect location, and Abbey was super communicative throughout the booking. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

Stayed May 27, 2025This is a beautiful home with ocean views from every room! Expansive decks and screened porch extend the living area, providing ample space for families. The kitchen is well-equipped and beds are comfy. Walk across the dunes to the beach or drive around with your 4-wheel drive! The beach is quiet, waves are hypnotizing, and birds are mesmerizing. Pack your sunscreen, a good book, bug spray, fishing gear, boogie boards, and cooler for the best day ever!

Stayed May 22, 2025I cannot say enough good things about the property. Clean and comfortable, excellent balcony views, open concept great for visiting and hanging out with family. We all had a great time and loved the house! We had no problems walking the path through the dunes. It is quite the trek though with beach stuff. We can’t wait to go back!

Stayed Aug 29, 2024Great getaway for a long holiday weekend. Views from the house are even better in real life. This community is “one with nature” given its close proximity to the dunes and the critters who live there, but still worth it.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024512 is a very large home that can easily sleep two families of four with beautiful furnishings to make you feel spoiled. There are wonderful views of the beach from every room, and the porches are spacious for a gathering.
