We had a problem finding the house because there was no house number on the house or above the garage. Once we decided it was the correct house the access directions were wrong, showing the wrong key lock. It appeared that the locks were changed and not working! We called the property management company who helped us access a key for entry. It would have been nice to have a starter kit of coffee and sugar, we ended up running out and buying coffee the night we arrived. The house was comfortable and in a good location if you were going to spend time at the Red River Canyon. There was a light on the side of the house that constantly turned on and off and was annoying for sleeping.

Everything was great except for light by bedroom windows that came on every 3 min. We had to cover windows to sleep.

What a cute little place! The pictures shown are a perfect example of what you will find on arrival. I would have liked to have given a 5 star rating, however I was dissappointed with my experience with Say over now, the vacation rental management company who cares for this property. We arrived just shy of an hr. after check in on a Friday. The inside is well decorated and very cute. However, I went to turn on the ceiling fan and noticed the dirty light switches and dirty air in take vent. We started looking around and found what looked to us, as an unclean cabin. I called the company first thing Saturday morning when they opened. Talked to a customer care rep., she told me she would leave a message for a manager and they would get back with me. 2 hrs later I called again, was given the same information but was also informed managers do not work on the weekends. 2 hrs later still no call back from management. I left a message, again no return call. The next morning, Sunday I called when they opened to hear the same information, this time asking if we wanted the cleaning staff to come clean our cabin. Yes. Please. They came close to 11 am, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. JAIME AND BRITTANY! At this point management has not called or even texted me a message about the condition of our rental. I called once more on Monday before we left. I did not get a full reimbursement, because I was told we did stay in the unit. They gave us one night a cleaning fee reimbursement. Disappointing!

This property is fabulous. Just a quick one night stay for us, but will consider renting again in the future. And will highly recommended to others!

It was centrally located. Our only issue was we are animal rights activists. The people across the street kept a dog on a chain most of the time we were there - in the heat or rain but they had another dog that was inside and brought out on a leash. Not your fault but it was hard for us to sleep knowing that dog was chained up outside. it is illegal to do that in Tennessee but we undertand there isn't a no chain law in Kentucky.

The property was exactly as it was described. It was a great location for us and the house was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We appreciated all the little things that the owner thought to include, like extra cozy blankets, toiletries, and kitchenware. We were very relaxed in the home. The beds were very comfortable, as were the sofa and chairs. The hot tub and firepit were clean and ready to go. We were looking forward to using them, but never got the change on this trip. Additionally, the communication with the owner was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Location and amenities on the property were great. It was close to good hiking trails. However, when we got there, the smoke detector in the basement (which was locked) was chirping. The outside garbage was close to overflowing. We contacted the company through the app. They were quick to respond, however no one came to fix the problem. So the smoke alarm chirped all three nights we were there. My girlfriend downloaded a white noise app so, thankfully, we were able to get some sleep.

Appreciate the retreat nature of this home after activities for the day. Nice proximity to a couple of convenience stores, local attractions, and easy on/off to parkway for further excursions. Only complaint, would be nice to have a little more water pressure for the shower.

Overall great place. The area is noisy due to being near a road but overall good stay. The key pad wasn’t working when we arrived and had to contact the management and was able to get the code for the key lock. Beautiful home, and great price!

Fantastic location directly off the Bert T Combs (exit 33). Beautiful, comfortable and well appointed interior. Open floor plan allows time together but well sized bedrooms provide room for quiet time. Very large backyard, if you are willing to walk up the hill, for kids and pups to run around. The only con is that the backyard is not fully fenced in. Fence is great for privacy, but does not enclose the complete front or roadside area of the yard so you will need to watch kids and/or pups as ours about got away. Also be mindful of the chained up dogs across the street.

Overall good experience. Property was updated and in convenient location. Down fall would be arrival. As seen in other comment(s), code did not work. Called management and got issues resolved fairly quickly (Heather was great). Road noise was a bit on the loud side but not terrible.

Property has clearly been recently updated and they did not skimp on the finishes. Soft close custom cabinetry, stone countertops, hardwood floors, and tile shower. Backyard is private with hot tub, firepit, and grill. Beds were very comfortable. The update is top notch. Only negative is the proximity to the road and a couple of properties nearby that are a little messy to look at. Those do not detract from the stay at all. Minutes from the interstate, trails, State Park and restaurants. Highly recommend this property.

Place nicely kept and easy to find. Entry code didn’t work so was a bit of a hassle to get in. Management responded quickly and fixed the issue so it was a minor inconvenience. Couldn’t get Wi-Fi connection and some highway noise was the biggest negative.

Booked this place due to location. It’s super close to red river gorge and all that it brings. The front of the house is really close to the road but the back makes up for it. The fence makes it feel secluded and the hill behind the house allowed our dog to get all her zoomies out! Was an amazing place to stay and you can tell someone really went out of their way to make it look really nice! 10 out of 10 would stay again
