Property is great.

The property was spacious, clean, with a great view of the mountains from two decks. Our daughter loved the hot tub and we played pool in the evening on the table downstairs. Location in the woods on the edge of the mountain overlooking Gatlinburg was great. We had neighbors but with plenty of wooded space between properties so the property was not isolated but was quiet. Only caveats: while the house is listed as pet friendly, I'm not sure I would take our dogs back as the road is a bit twisty and narrow for walking dogs and the only grass available was on the verge of the road, although this was very close by and traffic was very light. Abundant bears required caution in taking them out at dawn and dusk, and at least once we were no more than 20 yards from a mama bear with cubs when we saw her down the hill in a neighbor's yard. The chances of seeing bears in the area are very high. The other caveat is that the twisting hillside roads in the area require confident driving skills. If these are not problems for you, I highly recommend this home as it rates a ten in my book for comfort, cleanliness and view.

Pleanty of room for our family to be comfortable. We traveled with 3 adult children and Grandma.Grandma was very comfortable with her main floor bedroom and bathroom. The house was perfect!

View was amazing to see Gatlinburg lights at night. Bed very comfortable really enjoyed our time there.

We had a good time. A couple of bumps, had a cousin bail out on us the last minute. Wecmade the best of it. This was a girl trip.

Best ever. It had all the things you may need there. We saw bears a couple times too!

This place was awesome. The views from the back deck were breathtaking. Everything you could possibly need was supplied. The hot tub was great for nights and we saw bears everyday at the house. We will staying again next year.

We felt welcomed at this rental. The host knows what real hospitality looks like! Communication with the host was excellent. Great view of the sunrise from the deck too!

We had the most wonderful stay this location! We saw bears everyday. We enjoyed mommas and cubs ( a couple different sets). View was amazing, especially the sunrise! Owner was quick to respond to anything we needed. Location very close to downtown Gaitlynburg. Would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you for the best vacation, truly unforgettable

The space was great, but it needs to be tended to and cleaned more thoroughly - lots of dead bugs, Asian beetles crawling all over, dog poop on the deck (we did not bring a dog), a shower didn’t drain…just needs more attention.We contacted the owner about the cold water in the kitchen not working when we arrived and were told he’d as the maintenance person to fix it. As we were leaving I told him the cold water was not fixed to which he replied, “He must have been busy and forgot.”Space was great, but the house needs some love and needs to be cleaned more thoroughly.

We enjoyed our stay and the view was incredible. The property has a great location.

The cabin was one of the best that we've stayed in. The views were incredible! Parking at the cabin could not have been easier. Tom was great to communicate with!

It was a very nice and enjoyable time with family. We had a blast. The only other thing I can say is oh my goodness so many BEARS ♥️

We had a tremendous experience at this place. We saw bears daily in our driveway and on the mountain! The pool table and game room were wonderful for a party atmosphere, the upper deck offered a beautiful view of the Great Smokey Mountains, and the lower deck featured a jacuzzi that was perfect. The appliances were top notch, the beds comfortable, and the Black Bear decorating theme was spot on. We will stay there again!

Cozy and comfy with all the right spaces for our party. The main floor master suite worked great for my 84 year old mother, and the downstairs bedrooms and walk in shower worked well for the other two in our party. Decorated with cute bears throughout and lots of games for the family. The occasional bear sightings in the neighborhood were thrilling! And the owners have a FAC book for visitors that was very informative. Plus, they respond quickly to direct communications. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

The location was perfect. Peaceful and quiet, however, the road to get to the house was definitely a challenge (well worth it though). Our main entertainment was numerous bear sightings, which never grew old. The house was perfect for us and our 3 adult kids. Lots of wonderful family memories were made playing cards, watching movies, shooting pool, cooking and eating meals together. The Owner was always very responsive. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the little one's loved playing with all the things in the house for kids. Adults loved playing pool beds were comfortable. Saw bears every day.

We greatly enjoyed our week in this cabin. We had lots of room to spread out with our family of 8. The teens enjoyed the rec room and downstairs deck while the adults hung out on the upper level. We saw beats every day that we were there. When we arrived, there was a baby bear asleep in the tree right in front of our deck! It was so much fun to watch him! He visited the tree 3 times during our stay. My daughter had never seen bears outside the zoo, so she was thrilled! Thank you Tom for an amazing week!

We really enjoyed this property. Very clean, spacious and well appointed with a spectacular view off the deck. Five minutes from Gatlinburg strip but it was quiet and relaxed. The host was easy to communicate with, definitely recommend
