Nando and Sandy are great hosts and very welcoming. House is spacious and you have a large enclosed area for dogs. Location is close to restaurants and shopping. Had a great time.

The low score was because of spotty internet, cooler than expected water temperature, no dishwasher.

We were in town for a family celebration. This home had everything we needed and was very clean and comfy. The beds were really comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Hosts are both lovely people and the back yard was perfect for our doggies. Nando and Sandy!

Quiet neighborhood, great location for seeing the sites. Nando and Sandy go out of their way to make you feel welcome from the moment they great you at the door, what a bonus that was. Had all we needed, great location for walking and just relaxing. Would definetely stay here again. Many thanks

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a great place to stay in Tucson. Nando and Sandy welcomed us and walked gave us a tour of the front house (where we would be staying). Then they took us to the courtyard behind the house which was beautiful. There are seven (I believe I'm remembering that number correctly) heaters if to warm up the courtyard on a nice night and there is a very large outdoor kitchen. Beyond the courtyard is another fenced in backyard that seems huge where the dogs can play. Also for the dogs is a fenced in sideyard with a dog run. Our dog immediately began playing with their two dogs. Sandy and Nando asked us if they could have us over two nights later for a dinner where Nando makes paella. We happy accepted. They also invited my father (whom we were visiting in Tucson) and my brother who was also traveling out. Our boys asked if we could stay here every time we come to Tucson. The house was great. It was the winter so we turned on the heat at night and the house got very toasty. There are two tv rooms with big screen tvs and DirecTV with premium channels on each. The bed in the master bedroom is comfortable and our boys enjoyed the twin beds in the other room. There were beef tamales in the freezer for us as well. The night of the paella was great. My family felt so welcomed. My 12-year-old actually had four helpings of the paella he liked it so much. Nando and Sandy treated us like we were part of their family. They also have a grapefruit tree that had fruit ready to pick. I cannot tell you how many grapefruit my kids picked and ate. They loved it. Overall, our experience was probably better than 5 stars but that is all I can give. We found a place that we will make sure to book any time we come to Tucson. Thank you Sandy and Nando!

Hosts work to assure that you have everything you need! There is plenty of room for relaxing and enjoying yourself. It is a great central location with quick access to numerous restaurants and direct route to scenic points on the northeast side. Brunch and/or shopping are very close by. Plenty of parking if you need it.

Sandy & Nando offer a very comfortable wing of their home located in a nice, unpretentious Tucson neighborhood that is welcoming & great for dog walking, with beautiful mountain views. While the kitchen utensils can use some updating, & I believe Sandy may have already taken care of that, as when she asked for my opinion, it was my only critique, & she seemed genuinely receptive to my suggestion. If you're really, really good, or really, really lucky, Nando will prepare his masterpiece seafood paella while you're there, & if he does, accept their gracious invitation...and come hungry!
