5 Mi to Dtwn Denver: Peaceful Lakewood Home!

Simple check-in. Enjoyed the fireplace and the home away from home atmosphere.

We really appreciated how quickly the property owner communicated with us when we had questions. The home itself looks nothing like the pictures in the add. It definitely needs new photos for the add. The house is very eclectic and has interesting items through out. However at first sight it is quite overwhelming. House could use a deep clean. I also would remove that the house is elderly friendly just for the amount of steps. On the good side, the house is huge and is good for large groups. And has so much room for family events. Large back yard is a bonus.

We had a blast. It's a fun comfortable house in a nice quiet neighborhood with things to do. I think being west of Denver is ideal for vacationing. We went to Casa Bonita, a concert at Red Rocks, Meow Wolf, and ziplines in Idaho Springs! I wish we had time for the Denver Mint.

Nice little stay for sure. Has everything you need to be comfy and plenty of fun for kiddos.

Interesting layout and decor. Nice. Nearby Crown Hill Park is a great place for morning runs.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and lots of fun things to admire. The kids loved the nfl video game and the huge backyard to play in! We will be staying here again the next time we are in town

Large property with lots of space. Clean and a comfortable stay. Good neighborhood. Met our expectations. The bedrooms are rather small, but adequate.

The home is easy to find and check in was a breeze. It was nice to know that we could bring one of the dogs along to as this property is pet friendly. I wound up not utilizing this service as the dog was left with friends in a last minute decision. The only issues that were had with the property was the cleanliness of the home. The carpets were dirty and had a used pink press on fingernail on one of the carpets and there was hair in the bath tub. One bedroom had a shirt hanging in the closet and another room had a pair of shorts in the dresser. Unsure to whom they belonged. In the top dresser drawer of one the bedrooms on the main floor, it looked like something had spilled and was possibly starting to mold. That first night with the door closed, that specific room had an odor to it that wound up affecting one of the guests.No one used the upstairs to sleep in as one of the guests saw a very large spider half in and half out of the AC unit above the bed. We did place a call to the host first thing the next morning and expressed our concern and displeasure with the cleanliness of the house. He did set up an appointment with a professional company to come out that afternoon and clean the home. Upon returning to the property that evening there was a noticeable difference to the air quality. The house smelled fresh and clean, the carpets looked as if they had been vacuumed, and the bathroom looked to be cleaned.

Location was great! The beds were very firm. I would suggest a pillow topper/matterss pad. There were spiders, webs and dead bugs. There were animal heads, animal skins on wall, and animal rugs that were not shown in the pictures of the listing. This might really freak some people out!

Quaint well-maintained home in a beautiful old neighborhood. There is a huge fenced-in backyard. Easy access from the location to various amenities / downtown(s). Perfect for a family on a weekend break in Denver.

Great location and fun place

The property was exactly what we expected We could not find a broom to sweep the bugs on the floor.

The unit appeared as though someone just left the unit. Food in the refrigerator, personal products all through the house. Dusty fake flowers EVERYWHERE! Not a comfortable stay. We had to clean first.

House is as advertised. We enjoyed very much. Two things to help, 1. Clearer instructions on where to park. (We parked in the wrong spot but fixed it quickly. 2. There is an A and a B house at the address. Make sure you go into A as it’s awkward walking into someone else’s house. Overall great experience! Thank you

had family in town to visit and needed a larger spot to accommodate. house was very comfortable in a great location.

The property work for us well as we needed at least three separate sleeping areas in close proximity to the Sloan's Lake area. The layout is a little weird, and there are a lot of small items that need attention (loose door knobs and fixtures, locks on doors), but it was okay for us as we really only slept there.

My wife and I stayed in this house for a long weekend while we were visiting relatives in Denver. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood, and while it is an older house, it is in great shape. We found the decor both inside and outside the house very interesting. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the bedrooms and bathrooms were great and we had no issues. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house was well appointed, very comfortable and perfect for a long weekend stay. No complaints. Large fenced in backyard made for pleasant outdoor seating in the evening.

Great location to everywhere we needed to be. Had all the accommodations we needed.
