5 Mi to Disney Parks: Kissimmee Home w/ Game Room

We had a great time away from home celebrating Christmas. The open floorplan was perfect for us all being together whether watching TV, playing games at the table, or cooking dinner. It was a nice visit and a perfect place for me and my children.

The house is in a great location with very close proximity (10-15min) to all the Disney sites. Upon arrival, I had not received any check in code or way to access the home. I quick phone call to the property associate revealed they had no information about my check in. Evidently the owner and management company did not communicate to have the home ready when I arrived. About a 10-15min wait and I was sent all the information to get in the home. The house did not seem prepared for guests. The home definitely needed some cleaning (a/c vents filthy, floor needed a cleaning, slightly dusty, etc..). The inside entrance door to the garage had a door knob that wasn't working and the door was propped open the entire stay. I notified the property management and they stated someone would come fix it the following day, but nobody every showed up. There were very little amenities (no dish sponge, no extra paper towels or toilet paper, no propane for the grill, no laundry detergent, etc..) and the garage game room pictures are very misleading. The pool table has paint cans, loose tiles, and scrapes used to make it level. All the pool table pockets have holes in them and the balls fall to the floor anytime a shot is made. There is also a bit of debris in the garage that doesn't make it feel like a fun room. The layout of the house is great with nice separation between rooms and the beds are comfortable. My family and I thought the house was very conveniently located and it met all our needs. Very spacious and comfortable. Kids really enjoyed the game room. I have 2 small suggestions 1) the room where the bunk beds are located is quite warm and no fans in the room. I ceiling fan would help. Lastly, the room in the back has a ceiling fan but it was very noisy. Might need to be changed out. However we really enjoyed our time in the Pink Villa.

My mom, my myself, and my 4 year old daughter stayed here for 5 nights. I do love the neighborhood and the house it cute. A few things though- the furniture is very outdated and not in great shape, the king sized bed is very uncomfortable and lumpy, the pool is not heated and there was not a skimmer there to remove bugs (eww). Communication with the house manager wasn't very good. I messaged her the first night about two different things, one being a dead bug in the bathtub and she did not answer me for 3 days until I mentioned an issue with the electric.

Great location. Close to lots of shopping & restaurants choices. Very close to Disney and a quick drive to Universal Studios. The home is in a lovely neighborhood and is well kept. Lots of space to relax and unwind. You will love it here.

House was in a great location. The trash situation was not good as we arrived on a Saturday and pick up was Tuesday… so cans were overflowing on our arrival. On trash pick up day someone parked in front of the house blocking the can and the trash was not picked up. This made for an unpleasant situation. We had to go to the store on arrival to pick up a spatula and serving spoons along with frying pans. The ones in the kitchen were dirty, melted and unusable. Wooden spoons and some stainless steel spoons had mold and other substances growing or stuck on them. Wet dishes were put away in the cabinets. Complaints to the guest liaison proved useless to solve any issues. Pool light was out, counters and floors were dirty and sticky. We had to buy cleaning supplies on day one as well. The only TV that worked was in the living room. The WIFI password given was not correct. Blinds in several rooms did not work or were missing parts. The kitchen chandelier was covered in an unknown substance.

Overall the stay was okay. My only issue was the description said queen beds and they were full size size. The sleep was uncomfortable. Also the home isn’t cold at all. The ac is programmed at 72 and the house just does get cold at all. The game room was nice but the games didn’t work right. The air hockey game the chip won’t glide, the foos ball game the ball don’t roll right and the arms, and the pool table Leans so the balls rools to one side. Which is one of my reason for choosing this home.

I use VRBO mostly for business travel, and this house was perfect. It was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The owners take an interest in maintaining their investment, and I was pleased. I had contact with the property management folks who were quick to address a small issue. All in all, I would happily stay here again on my next business trip to the Orlando area.
