The house was very nice. The kitchen was reasonably stocked with equipment. The property was about 0.5 miles from the community center with workout facilities and pool.

The host was great! The house was beautiful, clean and had all the amenities! Definitely would recommend and stay again!

Plenty of King and Queen size beds and baths! Kitchen fully stocked. Easy access to carry luggage in and out. One bedroom on first floor. Rec room and hot tub. Plenty of towels to take to pool. Games and snacks provided. Christmas decor so pretty, especially the tree! We have rented several properties over the years. This had the best views! Has normal wear and tear for the age of the home.(carpet) Totally ok with us because we have small kids.

Communication from host was great! Very roomy with comfy beds. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed.( used both crockpots!) Close to the pool! We had a great stay! Also the Christmas tree was beautiful!

First off the house is beautiful. We did encounter a couple of problems like the fireplace not working at first and the hot tub not being warmed ahead of time. The host took care of any difficulty we had super quickly and our overall stay was wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked, there is even a lovely little spice rack for any cooking you might do. There's also a drawer filled with different kinds of tea which I really appreciated being a tea drinker. Overall, we would be excited to stay here again.

Nice place, accommodates a larger group well. would recommend to anyone. Only reason for 4 stars was the hot tub control panel didn't seem to work, so no jets, or lights, or anything. I’m sure it will get fixed. Will stay here again if in the area and have a larger group!

We had a wonderful time at Galena Getaway! There were 10 of us, and it was such a bonus that each couple had their own room and private bathroom—so much space and comfort. The grounds and views were absolutely beautiful, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, bake, or grill.The town of Galena was just a short 15–20 minute drive away, and when the summer heat kicked in, we loved being able to head just 4 minutes up the road to the included pool, game room, and fitness center. There’s so much to see in the area, and we truly hope to be back—we’d definitely love to stay here again!

I recommends this place to everyone. Huge house, huge space, and everything you need for good or bad weather

My wife and I, our four kids and four grandkids did a ski weekend and stayed in the Galena Territories. This house was the best! Having a bathroom in each bedroom was a very nice convenience. Everyone enjoyed sitting in the spa outside with snow on the ground.The owners were friendly, easy to connect with and were are super responsive when needed! Already planning an adult golf weekend and will be back in this house if it's available!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Such a nice bonus that it was decorated for Christmas and we felt so at home with all the attention to detail. We loved the opportunity for some to be playing games downstairs while others played games upstairs. All the bathrooms made it feel like we all had our own space. We will be back.

House was beautiful spacious and perfect for a group of high school friends to hang for the weekend. We had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

This house was spacious and tastefully decorated. We especially loved the decorated Christmas tree and holiday decor throughout! We had a slight plumbing problem on Thanksgiving, and Pete promptly had a plumber out in less than an hour! From reservations to check in to check out, the process was flawless. We all enjoyed our stay.

This is a wonderful house. It’s spacious yet feels cozy. Plenty of room for everyone to gather on the comfy couch while enjoying the fireplace or watching a movie. The extra large dining table works great for shared meals. The kitchen is functional and well equipped. Bedrooms all have en suite baths which is a bonus. ( comfy beds too). Huge outdoor space circles around a fire pit. Hot tub is a fabulous amenity.

My siblings and I had a wonderful stay in Galena. The house had plenty of room for the 8 of us. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the fire pit. It was only minutes away from Galena. For a larger group like ours we found it very nice to have larger beds and numerous bathrooms. Pete was very responsive to our inquiries as well.

We were in town to celebrate a family engagement and this house accommodated us beautifully with all en-suite bedrooms. We weren’t there much but were able to sit on the screened porch a few times and really enjoyed that.

This is the 2nd year we stayed here for family vacation. We had 3 generations of ages and it worked well for all of us. Spacious rooms, well stocked kitchen, great fire pit area, comfortable screened in porch, and close to the amenities of the Galena Territory.

Having bathrooms for all bedrooms was so helpful. The fire pit was enjoyed by all. We were amazed & happy to see so many stars in the sky…it’s peaceful there & you feel like you’re a million miles away. The two upper decks are great for watching our guests using the large yard & fire pit area. Everythjng you need is there. So restful. Plenty to do or relaxing to do nothing.

Had a great stay and enjoyed the Galena Territory area. The fire ring was great to hang out at in the evenings.

This house is spacious inside and out. The floor plan makes it easy for people to comfortably enjoy their stay whether together with family and friends, or away from the group. The property is expansive and in a great location. The owners are responsive/invested in making sure their guests meet or exceed their expectations.
