Stayed Dec 29, 2024This home was perfect for our group of two families. The kitchen/living area is beautiful and the views out the huge windows are amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. It is a very quiet residential neighborhood so I don’t recommend it if you have a noisy group that plans on partying loudly.

Stayed Dec 12, 2024Once again Royal Zen provided my family with an amazing stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook and the house is perfect for family gatherings. We have stayed here now two years in a row during the holidays and will be returning for years to come. The host, Kristin, is always so responsive and helpful! Can’t wait to return next year!

Stayed Nov 27, 2024Our group of 8 friends had a lovely stay at Royal Zen over the Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was a great set up to cook a holiday dinner in and the house provided ample space to spend time together or retreat to our own quiet spaces if needed. We enjoyed the hot tub and the gas fireplace and kept warm and cozy. Definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again!

Stayed Jun 27, 2024Overall very nice house with beautiful property backing to pine forest for nearly complete privacy. The house is spacious with nice size bedrooms. Kitchen and Great Room have plenty of comfortable seating. Hot tub is spotless as well as new gas grill. It’s about 35 min to Kings Beach House is lived in and could use some updating and repairs. Nothing that impacted the stay but would rate this 8 of 10 in terms of overall quality.

Stayed Jun 15, 2024Very peaceful & wonderful stay! House is very nice as described. Convenient 10-15 min to down town Truckee. We were in from Northern VA. for a family wedding. It was nice to have enough beds and en suites for all of us:) pre teen to 76. House is nicely equipped with Kitchen necessities.
