5 Bedroom Beachfront Property With Endless Ocean Views

Don't fall for the 5 star reviews like I did!When walking into the house, it appeared clean. However, when taking a closer look, there was rust on the HVAC intake vent and mold in the HVAC systems. Even though it was an older unrenovated home, there were many parts of the home neglected. The Internet was spotty at best, continuously dropping such that we went through our cellular data before the end of the week. The screened in porch may as well have not been screened in as there were multiple places where the screens were detached or in poor shape. In the kitchen and master there was plaster occasionally falling from the ceiling, and in one of the full shared baths there was an obviously poor repair on the ceiling directly above the shower. I didn't check all pillows, but one on the bed I was sleeping in was riddled with stains. The fridge stopped cooling mid week even on level 5. The bushes were so overgrown at the end of the driveway they scratched our cars.There was also lack of communication from the owner when I brought up the fridge not cooling and the Internet not being strong enough. I even mentioned we had to throw out food. He had communicated before when there was a burning plastic smell from the separate ice fridge earlier in the week, so he was well aware of our stay and could have responded back. Despite all of this, which is why I'm giving 2 stars and not 1, is the view and location of the house. Breathtaking views directly on the beach.

Entrance to driveway needs trimmed back about 6 inches per side so hedges don't scratch your car. Doors are a bit difficult to open and could use some work, but general condition and layout is good. We noticed the windows and sliding door tracks hadn't been cleaned in a LONG time (we cleaned them in the great room). Had to clean the brushes and replace belts on vacuums to get them to work, and thete were several ligjts that were nit working; but other than those minor inconveniences, it's a really nice place for a family to spend a week at the ocean. Far enough removed from the traffic and high-use areas, but close enough to get to stores and attractions if you want/need to.

The location is perfect. Wonderful deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The house is rustic and dated but comfortable. It needs some repairs and TLC. We had a very special time with our family,

4th year vacation at this beach house. As always....no disappointment here! Great, spectacular views. Very roomy accommodations. Hopefully will be back next year.
