4BR Retreat w/ Pool and Grill

Appreciate how quickly hosts responded to any questions or concerns we had! Would stay again if in area.

The house is spacious and was spotless. We were surprised to find a bonus game room with a pool table and dart board. The kitchen could definitely use some improvement, though. The oven, which we were trying to use for some Thanksgiving preparations, did not heat properly and our desserts turned out less than desirable as a result. The host, in our communication about the non functional oven, asked for pictures of the problem which I didn’t have time for and really weren’t going to provide a solution. ( How do see a temperature not being the correct temperature?)There are no oven mitts or kitchen towels available either. The final morning of our stay was probably the worst when we realized we had no hot water. Cold showers all around! The host, in our conversation about the hot water, said I should have let them know sooner so they could have fixed it, but we only discovered the issue an hour before our check out time which had been an absolute non negotiable since the beginning of my reservation. In sum, the property is nice, but it does need some maintenance. The host is difficult to communicate with.

We own a property that we do short term rentals so my assessment is comparative.The kitchen is not prepared for cooking. There is one (scratched up) non stick pan and limited utensils (several pots though). Also the eating utensils should be improved. For example, the teaspoon is the size that you would use to feed a baby.The house was clean. All furniture and cabinetry in the house was low end. The beds were memory foam and very comfortable. The pillows unfortunately were fiber fill. Having some down pillows on each bed would really be appreciated. The shower heads are rain showers and take several minutes to stop dripping after the shower. Personally, I'd prefer a more typical shower head.For a rental in November, you would think the pool would be warm. It was 50F and thus essentially an ice plunge. Temps in the Dallas area prior to arriving were in the 80s and 90s, so it's hard to understand how the pool was this cold. Unfortunately, this amenity was unusable.When we arrived, there no shade in the kitchen picture window and a light in the main room was flickering. We connected with the property management team, and they were incredibly responsive (5 STARS!) to resolve the issues.In the (heated garage) game room. The pool table was nice, (though it's not level) The TVs don't connect to nat'l/local stations. Finally the house was pet friendly. I would say this VRBO was over-priced. Overall, I wouldn't re-rent this property.

Property was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the swimming pool.

Awesome place would totally stay again. Property was great on keeping in contact when needed. Just wish there was kitchen items like seasoning, oil, etc. Also detergent for washing machine.

The house was very nice with plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was great! I would stay here again!

Love the pool and gate around it for safety with little ones. Enjoyed the open living area.

Comfortable memory foam beds, spacious for family gatherings, pool was great and well kept. AC worked and there was redundancy with in room units were the central to be either overcome or fail. Plenty of fridge space, gotta remember to turn on ice machine when you get there. WiFi allowed game streaming.

We enjoyed our time here…property description shows a patio cover which is not there. It rained so we weren’t able to use back yard and pool much. Somehow, we had gnats that we couldn’t find the source. The owner was very responsive and helpful! Had a few issues with kitchen chairs being lightweight. My husband is a large man and didn’t feel comfortable so we used our sturdy lawn chair for him. Sofa was super comfy and beds were great too!

Pros: Very spacious. Family enjoyed the game room. Everyone had their own space. Quiet pleasant neighborhood. Pool was clean. BBQ pit was clean. Plenty of towels. Cons:Area rugs were dirty. Main shower was dirty. Pool area was a little shabby if you’re expecting safety for your child or pets the pool fence is torn and it’s easy to walk into pool area. I believe they mention in the description but there’s no laundry or dishwasher pods.

Great house on a quiet street with lots of space both inside and out. Super clean and well maintained. We traveled with our dogs and they loved having the big backyard. We had a little glitch at check-in but the host was super responsive and addressed the issue very quickly.

Beautiful home, very clean, great location and friendly management. Couldn’t ask for more. We had a lovely time. Thank you!

We came to the area to celebrate our daughter’s 20th birthday. The home is clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The host was friendly and responsive to all my questions. Bonus, there is a green belt with a playground and walking trails one block away. I would definitely stay there again.
