    Had a great stay here with the family. Came up to the Asheville area mainly for Biltmore (still decorated for Christmas), but we also enjoyed riding around Arden and into downtown Asheville. Nice clean house, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, and great host. We recommend!

    The property was very spacious and all five of us were able to sit on the couch comfortably!!The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were large. Everything was clean when we arrived. Overall we were very pleased!

    No smoke detectors anywhere!! Pro’s: The house was the perfect size and layout for our needs. It was fully equipped with everything needed and more. Cleanliness was good. Con’s: the host was selective about which messages were responded to. I ask, in advance of our stay, whether there was a regular coffee maker or a k-cup one. The message was never responded to. Two other messages after that went unanswered. She claims not to have seen them. The following morning we couldn’t get the coffee maker to work. We messaged after downloading directions and trying everything possible. She did answer, and said the cleaning staff always check to see if it was working, but she would send the directions. They were never sent. A big issue was that there weren’t any working smoke detectors. The only place where it looked like one would be was empty with wires hanging out of the ceiling. I messaged her about that and received no answer. Basically, consistent host communication would’ve made all the difference. We will not stay there again.

    Overall great stay. Nothing major affected the experience but I would say there are little things around the house that need better attention to detail. Broken dresser pulls, cracked toilet flush handle, broken off towel hanger, cracked shelves in the fridge, microwave handle pulls away if pulled at the bottom, etc. Like I said, nothing that makes the house un liveable but may need some proper maintenance in order to host continued/returned guests. Alarm clocks or clocks in general would be nice for the rooms as well. Our children are all old enough to read a clock but not old enough to have a cell phone. I know most people rely on cell phones but a simple small clock on the night stands maybe appreciated by families of children/preteens

    This property was fine for a weekend. All one level for our elderly parents was perfect and we appreciated the dog friendly allowance. The listing is misleading but that the yard is fenced. The back yard is not usable for pets. Living spaces are small but comfortable but had to rate down for the yard

    We booked this property as a last minute getaway and we are so glad we did! It was the perfect space for 4 adults, 3 kids and a dog. The space off the kitchen was a great kid hangout. The beds and the couch were comfortable, the decor was contemporary and clean and the house had all the linens and basic necessities. The only thing we wish it had differently was a grassy fenced in area for the dog and the kids. The owners were quick to respond and we would recommend their property to anyone going for a low key trip.

    This cute cottage was a cozy and comfortable place for our sibling reunion. The host immediatley responded to a concern that arose and provided a very satisfactory solution. The beds were comfy and the neighborhood was a lovely quiet spot to relax. We had a delightful time!
