The space
The Farmhouse is a large home (2,800sf) sitting on a 1+ acre lot that will comfortably accommodate large families. There is generous outdoor space for kids to play and adults to socialize. Enjoy the fire pit day or night for outdoor fun and s'mores. Or lounge on the wrap around porch gliders with a good book. Either way, you'll feel refreshed after your time here!
We tried to honor the historic character and charm of the historic farmhouse while providing modern amenities and comforts like inviting couches, flat screen smart TVs, and central heating. Original wood slat walls and ceilings, hardwood floors through out, wood burning stove - it maintains the rustic feel you'd expect from a 100 year old home.
Living, lounging, and eating rooms on the first floor with 1 full bathroom. 4 bedrooms and 1 full bath on the second floor.
PLEASE NOTE:
There is a separate tiny home on the property that is listed separately on travel sites. You may encounter other guests staying in the tiny home in the parking area. There is ample parking for 4+ cars. 4WD or AWD recommended in the winter months when there is snow on the ground. This is a 100+ year old farmhouse that relies on a well for water. Guests with multiple adults may want to consider efficient showers with a little planning. When we use the house as a family we can generally take 2-3 showers in a row before the water needs a breather!
