The bayside of the cape really has the best of both the Bay and the Gulf and Trudy May's is about as close to the bay as you can get, sitting right behind the wetlands.

The place was beautiful! Our host provided everything we needed and more and was was great to communicate with! We will definitely be coming back to the Cape!
This property is an amazing stay for anyone that enjoys fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, or just sitting on the dock watching the sun rise. Plus there’s tie ups for your boat. If you wanna keep it in the water for the entire stay. It is on the bay side so no sandy beaches, but if that’s your thing, the beach access is just a half mile down the road, and there are bikes with a paved bike path that runs the entire way there. The house is very nice, with lots of bathrooms and showers, and plenty of beds and sofa space to give everyone a place to sleep. The kitchen is very well appointed, and we were able to prepare the fresh fish and blue claw crabs we caught from the bay every night. There are multiple porches to sit on with your morning coffee and watch the sun rise, which is absolutely gorgeous! We have stayed at this property two times now, and Amelia has been a very attentive property owner. The few little things that we mentioned from the first stay (broken ice maker in fridge, and slow drain in master bathroom) were fixed and functional when we came back. Plus there have been big updates to the property that have made it even better, like paving the area below the house for easier parking of multiple vehicles, and providing a ping pong table for additional entertainment. There was also a brand new, huge sectional sofa that replaced a couple smaller sofas that were previously in the living room, which has made seating WAY better for a large crowd.
Amazing views from the house and dock. Easy water access in the bay and short walk to the beach.
The house provided a great view and the dock was perfect for our daily boat trips on the bay. The owner was super to work with and responded very promptly to any questions we had. There are a few items that need a little TLC but the overall experience was very good. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.
Scalloping was slow this year but we were there for friends and relaxing. Success!! Your property is exactly what we've needed, not on top of people but perfectly secluded. The neighbors (to the west) the ones that purchased your other property were extremely friendly people. You couldn't have sold to better people. Thanks again for sharing your property with us. We look forward to next year and hope we can book on a good date! Thanks again for your hospitality. Clayton Wells
Comfortable, spacious home surrounded by nature with glorious views of the bay. Enjoyed biking to State Park and easy walk to the beach.
Great location, great dock, fire pit, kayaks and paddleboards, but house was not that clean.
Great location and house was nice. Really enjoyed the views and breeze. Another family was using the shared dock most of the days so we didn’t use it as much as hoped. Take your own beach chairs as the ones with he house are old and rusty, and have a plan for ice. Home doesn’t have an ice maker and freezer was not making ice
Overall we had a great vacation, my kids had a blast snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, and crabbing all from the dock. The dock is shared with another house, but it is huge and there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The host was very responsive, we had an issue with internet service and she did her best to get it resolved as soon as possible. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you need if you want to eat your catch each night (and we absolutely did)!!! Beach access on the gulf side is in walking distance, or you can easily bike with the bikes provided at the property. We will definitely be going back again to this property. The only reason I gave 4 stars on cleanliness was due to a slight “doggy” smell when we first got there, but this is kind of unavoidable in a pet-friendly property, and was certainly worth airing out the house when we first got there so we could also have our dogs with us.
This was our first trip to CSB and we loved it! The house was perfect for our family, clean and comfortable and well-appointed. My daughter and I loved the paddleboards.
Lots of time spent on kayaks and our boat this trip. We saw sea turtles, dolphins, sharks, skates, and crabs all right in the bay in front of the house.
We had a wonderful time on a last minute stay to celebrate our birthdays. The view is incredible! It was a bonus to be able to bring the pet and loved the gate on the deck! Bugs? Yes, you are on the water. Water pressure low? Yes but so tolerable….. It’s a beach house! We won’t hesitate to rent again! I didn’t want to leave.
We truly enjoyed visiting cape San blas. What a beautiful little ocean town. The rental property was absolutely lovely. The house was very clean, well decorated, and spacious - more than enough room for our family of 5 (2 adults, and 3 daughters ages 9,6,5). Communicated with the property manager was exceptional. Beach access is about 0.5 miles or less from the house - super convenient. Overall, our stay was wonderful - absolutely no complaints. If you’re looking for a wonderful family vacation, this is it.
