Town: Chester is rightfully referred to as the pearl of the North-West of England. The city's most remarkable feature is that there is evidence of every period of history within a relatively short area, from Roman walls and amphitheatres through medieval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed townhouses and Georgian terraces, Victorian restorations, and 21st-century architecture. The city has a lot to offer visitors, such as superb shopping in and around the famous Tudor 'Rows' and lovely walks along the Roman Walls, beside the River Dee, and through the beautiful Grosvenor Park. Visit Chester Racecourse or spend the day at the world-famous Chester Zoo.

The house was in a great location being an easy 15 minute walk into the centre of Chester. Parking was good on the drive. However, there was no heating on when we arrived and the house was freezing. It took a day for the property to warm up sufficiently. The heating system was old and inefficient. The towels were old and thin. Overall just a little tied. We did not consider it was value for money.
