Stayed Oct 23, 2025This was a fantastic little find in Lakewood. Very close to red rocks with lots to do and eat around. Our host was fantastic, gave us great food recommendations and provided items to tail gate before our concert at Red Rocks. Very cozy.

Stayed Aug 6, 2025Rented this house for a family gathering to go to a concert at Red Rocks. Perfect location, quick drive to venue and very close to grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. The house was clean and cozy. The host thought of everything. If we needed anything at all, we knew we would find it! Great backyard area for grilling, outdoor games and relaxing coffee talk in the mornings. The hostess was so sweet and wanted to make sure we all felt comfortable and at home. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is that I was surprised the host occupied the basement of the house while we were there. I have myself to blame as I did not read all of the reviews. If I would have, I would have seen this mentioned in December of 2024. I do think that the listing is misleading because in the details it specifically says Entire House. Since I did not think VRBO listed shared properties, I was not expecting this. This is not the fault of the owner as Evolve Property Management is responsible for this listing but I will be contacting them to suggest that they change that detail in their listing for future guests. Based on past reviews, I am not the only one who was surprised upon arrival that the house was occupied during our stay.

Stayed Jul 22, 2025The property is in a great location on the west side of Denver with easy access to multiple freeways/highways. The host was there at check-in which was surprising. She was very personable and walked us through the property. At this point we were shown a curtain that separated the kitchen from her section... meaning that it's not actually separate from her living space at all. As all of us staying there were responsible we tried to 'get past it'. But then the host informed us that her adult son was visiting her and would be around the property. That made us more uncomfortable. The house itself was decently clean. Some of the towels were stained but everything else was clean and generally well-kept. What made us really uncomfortable was when we were taking part of our party to the airport at 4 am there was someone standing on the other side of the curtain (we could see their shoes). So if you are looking for a truly private property, look elsewhere.

Stayed Dec 29, 2024My stay at this Lakewood home in Denver exceeded all expectations. The property is impeccably maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience. From the spacious, fully equipped areas to the small touches of hospitality, everything reflects a dedication to quality. The host is a shining example of excellence: always attentive, warm, and available for any needs or questions. This is not just a house; it’s a temporary home where you feel truly welcomed and cared for. Highly recommended!

Stayed Dec 17, 2024As others have mentioned, the house is wonderfully clean and well stocked. The hostess is very communicative. Had we known that our part of the house cannot be secured from the basement occupants, we would have made different arrangements. The occupants in the basement enter the home through a door from the garage leading to a hallway which gives them two options: enter their secured basement door or enter into the kitchen of the rental space. There is only a curtain separating the kitchen in the rental space from them. Hence, if you’re in the kitchen or living room, they pass through on the other side of this curtain. The lack of a wall or securable door for the rental space is a safety and privacy concern and should be more clearly disclosed in the listing, as the basement occupants can easily gain access to the rented living space. It felt uncomfortable to us, in spite of the amiable hostess.

Stayed Aug 9, 2024This did not feel like a short term rental stay, the hostess is a gem, we had groceries stocked when we arrived, and the place was SO clean. Never would I have imagined I’d feel comfortable letting my 8 month old roam floors in a strange place, but it felt so clean. The neighborhood is safe and easy to access, the hostess is so readily available and willing to help in any way. She lives onsite in the basement, but unless she told you that, you’d never know. She had toys and books set out for my little one- such a personal touch. Loved this stay, and would definitely recommend.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024This is an immaculately kept property in a great location - easy access to Red Rocks Amphitheatre, I-70 and other routes to the mountains, and close to Golden and other interesting destinations. But what makes it special is Leailia, who is an exceptional host. She provides amenities you rarely find in other rentals - a fridge stocked with the basics, snacks (kid-friendly, too), a very well-equipped kitchen, toiletries, etc. And she is as nice a person as you'd ever want to meet. She lives downstairs, so she's there if you need her, but otherwise unobtrusive. She made our trip for a family event much easier. Do not hesitate to book this property.

Stayed Jul 9, 2024Leailia is the most gracious host! Her home is lovely and we just felt so comfortable there! It has everything you need for an easy stay! We used it as a home base to explore the area. Denver - we easily jumped on transit to get downtown and not worry about parking, etc. Breckenridge - about an hour drive day trip Red Rocks - just around the corner and got to take in a show Leailia had fun recommendations for activities and restaurants and they were spot on! She even let us borrow stadium seats for our Red Rocks show; total game changer! Can’t say enough great things about our stay and our host. I would encourage anyone to enjoy her gracious hospitality!

Stayed Jun 19, 2024There were 5 of us, my daughter, her husband, and their two young children. The home worked great for us. The bedrooms were reasonably sized and the two bathrooms were in good condition. The house was well cleaned when we arrived and was equipped with everything we needed. There is a pleasant back yard with a deck and patio that we used quite a bit. It had plenty of seating, a gas grill, and a fire pit. There was also a small charcoal grill that we did not use. The host is very pleasant. She gave us a good tour of the house when we arrived and was responsive to our questions (mostly questions related to things she told us about stuff in the house that we forgot). Would definitely stay here again.
