Stayed Jan 12, 2026The host was great, easy to work with, and accomidating. The house could have been better. In the kitchen, there were no kitchen knives beyong 3 small steak knives that could have been easily bent by a ten year old. Slicing a large red onion and chopping celery was quite the chore. There were no filters for the drip coffee maker. We tried the other coffee maker, but that wasnt easy either. I'd never seen one of those before, and an owner's manual would have helped.Throughout the house, it was plain to see it was painted over without prepping, with paint blistering up due to moisture in the wood. Also maybe use some painter's tape for even edges on contrasting colors. There WAS laundry pods, and I left a box of drier sheets.Outside the house, all across the yard, over the walkway from the sidewalk to the porch, and all along the driveway , there were leaves as much as a foot deep were dried leaves from the big tree behind the house next door. It didn't rain while we were there, but if it HAD, those leaves would have been quite slick and a hazard. It would probably be a good idea to have the foundation worked on. That house also has more than slight tilts to sections of the floor, especially towards the center of the structure.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025We had a great time staying at this house. A classic midtown home with charming wood floors and a lovely porch (with a swing!). Such a great location for accessing midtown and downtown. Walking distance to Overton Park and the Zoo. Would stay again next time we’re in town. Thanks!!
