The message on how to enter the property was confusing, with two different door codes provided. Another party had the same problem with an additional rental on the same property the following night. I ended up providing contact information for the host so they could get into their rental. The toilet in the half bath did not flush properly until a toilet plunger was used on it. The closet in the bathroom near said bathroom had a slight sewer odor. The soap dispenser in the same bathroom was broken. The water filter on the refrigerator showed a red display indicating it needed to be changed. The area on the sides of the washer/dryer was dirty with a sock an old dryer sheet and a fair amount of lint. The kitchen trash can would not hold a trash bag in place due to a broken part. Every time we put anything heavy into the trash can the bag collapsed into the can.

The house was clean, well supplied with basics, and the host was extremely responsive to every communication.

We enjoyed staying at this charming craftsman house. It is very clean , with ample living and sitting areas. The bedrooms are clean and nicely decorated. For us the kitchen was the highlight, having comfortable seating, great pot and cooking pans, non teflon! The host has paid great attention to details, the spices, oil and enough of everything to put a quick meal together. The instructions were clear. We had a fabulous weekend at your property. Clean, quiet, and convenient. It was a quick trip for us and this was the home was perfect for us. Bed and blessing was super comfortable which was a bonus!

You can't see it, but it's there,...possibly on the very spongy flooring under the beautiful LVT flooring. My husband says the smell hit him immediately upon entering. (He usually does not notice mild cases.) Within 5 minutes of our arrival, my throat started closing up due to my moderate to severe allergy to mold. I did NOT have my Epipen , but had to use Benadryl. We had asked this host to remove any air fresheners and make sure the A/C filter and grate were cleaned before our arrival because my 77 year old mother-in-law has severe asthma and is on oxygen, but we didn't expect a mold issue in this beautifully renovated old Craftsman. This host didn't care that my anaphalaxis and my mother-in-law's life or death issues meant we had no choice, but to leave. NO REFUND. I had to see my ENT and get a 426 medication to kill what I inhaled in that house. Since our new home was still not ready to be moved into, our family had to find lodging with 2 vehicles crammed with necessities, 2 dogs, and my mother-in-law's medical equipment after 5 p.m. on a a Saturday night. We have documentation and receipts for all of the above. In the end, we paid twice for almost a week of lodging. We told the host that we would have to leave a bad review if he couldn't work with us on some kind of refund to our ailing family budget. He didn't seem concerned and said that he would have the home tested for mold. For YOU and your FAMILY's sake, please consider asking for the results BEFORE you book.
