Welcome to Better Now



Welcome to Better Now... just as you enter the front porch, the name of the house will all make sense. It is welcoming and comfortable. This porch is screened in with a bed swing and plenty of seating to read, relax, play cards, or catch up with family and friends.



Enter the front door and into the living area is a large, open floor plan with plenty of natural light from the many windows. This beautifully decorated living room has comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV. The dining table seats 11 with extra seating for 3 at the kitchen bar. The upscale kitchen features unique tile, stainless appliances, granite counters and ample storage.



You will find one of 2 master suites on this floor. This room includes a king-sized bed a large closet, and flat screen TV. The private bath features a glass door shower, separate tub, beautiful tile work and granite counters.



On the 2nd floor atop the stairs is a landing area with a full-size sleeper sofa., flat screen TV and an Xbox 360. The bunk room, queen room and loft on the 2nd floor share a full bath.



The 2nd master suite is on this floor with a private balcony and seating. This room has an en suite bath with stand-up shower, double vanity and a tub.

There are 2 Olympic size swimming pools in the community, miles of nature trails, minutes from Watercolor and Seaside. The community Gathering Place has a fire pit, hot tub, playground and entertaining bar.



NatureWalk at Seagrove is a 155-acre, master-planned community surrounded by Point Washington State Forest and is located along Scenic Highway 30A corridor.     The location of the property was amazing, a short walk to the pool and a 10 minute bike ride to the beach. The property needs more attention with the cleanliness. The house had roaches, especially in the master bedroom upstairs. Also, the family that stayed in the master bedroom upstairs had bed big bites. For the amount of money that is charged guest shouldn’t have to experience these type of issues. We had a costly dermatologist bill to treat the bites. Overall, if the house is cleaner and free of bugs we would give a 5 star rating.

    The house that we stayed at was great. This was our 2nd time at this house. The only thing that needed improved upon in the cookware. There’s not that many items and what was there was pretty worn.

    Our first impression was a garage full of beach supplies left in an unsightly, disorganized heap. Even though there were many nice beach ‘toys’ included, my husband spent two hours sorting through the chaos to make them accessible. We went on to find several specific areas inside the house that called its overall cleanliness into question. Management corrected some of these issues and others we tried to overlook, such as a dirty kitchen floor mat, a dishwasher not safely bolted into the cabinet, several pans that should be replaced, etc. Although the house is well decorated and supplied with extras for families with small children, we encourage the owners to review it with an attention to detail. Unfortunately, we were quickly confronted with a major problem—a refrigerator ‘on the blink’ went on to dominate our holiday experience. We lost much of our initial supply of groceries before we realized that the refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly. The management company was considerate and responsive in sending out repairmen (eventually providing a mini fridge) but, each time, we had to wait another day or two to determine if the repair had worked. Meanwhile, we were constantly trying to hold food in iced coolers and a small fridge. FIVE repair visits failed to solve the problem so we spent 15 nights struggling to keep our food safe. It proved a very expensive holiday of ‘camping out’ food wise. Added to that, we woke up to no hot water one morning. That problem was remedied in a few hours’ time, but just one more frustrating issue. To our request for compensation, we received only a 10% refund. This was totally inadequate to address the loss of food and inconvenience that dominated our entire stay but we were told nothing more could be done. Apparently, the rental agreement is designed to protect the owner’s interests more so than the guest’s. We have rented various properties along 30A for over 30 years and have never encountered anything close to this level of inconvenience. We can only alert others to the potential for ‘Better Now’ to become ‘Worst Nightmare.’ - [ ]

    We had the best time biking and golf carting to the beach and to Seaside! The front porch is too perfect!!

    This property was perfect for our family of 8 adults. We did use the available bikes. It was easy using the trail to get to the beach. The trail ended into a street that takes you to San Juan beach access. It is about 10-15 minutes by bike. We also rented a golf cart that made trips into to town and to the beach easy also. The proximity to Publix Supermarket was great. It was walking distance for us. We also like the amenities of the neighborhood. We used the public firepit and grill for a wonderful evening away from our rental. Family also used the basketball court to break up the day of activities.

    We enjoyed our stay at Better Now. Property was clean and having the four bikes helped us explore the 30a efficiently. Lots of space and the daybed on the porch was a great place to read. Lots of games stashed in the living room drawers for rainy days. Thanks!

    2 families (7 people) stayed in this cozy house. The neighborhood is so cute and is a beautiful place for a walk and a bike ride. Our families enjoyed the community volleyball courts, the basketball hoops, the pickleball courts and the pool. It is close to a local grocery store which is so convenient and close enough to bike to the beach. We did this using the included bikes. Check-in was very easy. Upon first glance the house seems a bit smaller than the pictures show. The living room furniture needs updating and the pull-out sofa bed in the landing is a really just a toddler sized trundle bed but the 7 of us were comfortable and cozy for the week. The kitchen is well stocked and clean. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and very nice. We appreciated the plentiful supply of towels and the use of the updated washer and dryer. Overall, we were happy with our stay! Highly recommend renting a golf cart and hiring The Polished Chef, Nathan, for a gourmet meal right in your own rental.
