4-Bedroom Family-Friendly Home in Morgantown, WV Near Cheat Lake

The house was perfect. The kitchen/living area was very open floor plan and spacious. Kitchen had all the bakeware and utensils needed as well as grill items. The furniture was like new and the bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The downstairs room was a great size with the large bed, twin bed, mini sectional and another small fold out bed. The other half of the basement was a large 2 car garage that got our truck and smaller car and 2 car driveway. No parking on the road. The entrance to the development was extremely steep and would be hard to get in/ out of with bad weather, however I would think they maintain it since there are about 60 homes that need to access it. I would 100% stay here again. Margaret left a lovely basket of goodies in the kitchen. We had difficulty communicating as I was in the way there but we did connect and the check in went smoothly.

Amazing property host. Very response and helpful. Yiu can tell she takes pride in being an amazing host. Even had a welcome sign and treats for us upon arrival. Everything was very clean and tidy. The garage was a hugevplus for us as we were on our annual motorcycle trip. Hope to return to the area again and will 100% stay here againThank you for making our trip special.

We spent a long 4th of July weekend with family that live in Morgantown. The house was very clean throughout. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Towels including wash clothes and kitchen towels enough provided. Bedrooms big and basement fits a family with kids. Kitchen stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. I would rent again. Very nice owner and nice to talk with regarding our stay.

Maggie had a nice welcome basket on the counter top for us to enjoy during our stay! It was a sweet and pleasant surprise! She was easy to communicate with when we had questions and she gave us a wonderful suggestion to a local restaurant! Lovely house and we would stay there again.

We had 7 in our group ranging from 16 to 78. Plenty of space for all. Well kept, clean, and welcoming, and the owner was very responsive to a few questions we had. Check in and check out were a breeze!

My family of 9 stayed here on our way home from our vacation to the Outer Banks, NC. Throughout our trip, we stayed at 5 different locations, and this was by far our favorite. Very clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, perfect for a family. Well stocked with so many thoughtful items. Great communication from Maggie. My kids loved the treats and the adorable tent. Highly recommend this home!

Three of our adult children live in Morgantown, with two of the three families expected we wanted to find a place to host a family holiday. This property was perfect providing a place to gather and entertain our kids from town while offering a plenty of space for our two out of town children and mother-in-law who stayed the weekend. The home is stylishly decorated, impeccably clean, and offers very comfy beds. The downstairs is a nice place for teens or young adult children, the kitchen is roomy and well stocked for cooking offering basic oils and condiments, and the two car garage is well kept.The gift basket of homemade treats was icing on the cake. The host was thoughtful, responsive, and checked in on us after a pretty bad storm rolled through the area. The battery powered LED lights were perfect for the storm induced power outage.This will be our go to place for family visits!

We only had a brief 1-night stay while visiting WVU. Lovely home, very clean and organized, and close to the university. We loved the wonderful treats!

The host was amazing, left yummy treats and helped whenever needed. Super kind.
