This cottage is well equipped with enough of the things you need for a weeks holiday. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. The location is very near to Chesil Beach and we walked from the property which was great. You do need a car (or bus) for the main resort of Weymouth, but that is no problem. There is plenty to do for all ages in the area and a bit further afield. The only downside is that the property is on a very busy main road and the traffic particularly motorbikes and ambulances that are going past several times a day and night with their sirens blaring did keep us awake sometimes. There was a dirty hairbrush in the bottom of one wardrobe and another one on top of the same wardrobe, and a used vaping canister in one drawer and a hair scrunchie under one of the beds and some hairs in the bath. This did make us wonder how thorough the cleaning had been, especially given the current coronavirus situation and the fact that you have to checkout before 9am and can't checkin before 5pm. That should be plenty of time to clean thoroughly especially as guests have to strip their own beds, put all laundry into a big laundry bag and empty all the bins themselves. Overall I would recommend this property, but bearing in mind the above comments. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
Very comfy, everything it says on ‘the tin’. Bus stop outside, little beach 5 mins down the road, good pathway to walk to Weymouth, stops along the way for a cuppa, and Chesil beach on your doorstep. Plenty to do around and about. But lovely house to relax in if it’s raining. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
When we arrived as requested the previous occupants loaded everything into the dishwasher, unfortunately they jammed 2 x tablets into the receptacle so the whole cycle left residue and we had to repeat the wash before we could use any crockery or cutlery. We found broken glass on the kitchen worktop so deep cleaning didn’t really work for us.Future guests should be informed that they need to bring milk,tea,coffee,sugar,anti-bac wipes, dish clothes and even a hairdryer as nothing is provided. We still had a great time and the weather was superb but everything seems to be blamed on COVID-19.A small welcome pack would be appreciated by all. Lovely place. Spacious, well equipped, comfortable and in a great location close to beaches and local places of interest and beauty. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back in the future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
Wonderfully spacious house. Close to coastal path for walks and cycling both east and west, and south to Portland. House is on a very busy road with traffic all day and night. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
We had a lovely week , house very comfortable and a good location. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
One thing to note that the property states dog friendly on listing but when you have paid says dog only allowed downstairs -which had we known we may have reconsidered - also there is not a back door so a wet dog on a winter stay could be an issue coming in directly to lounge - overall a lovely stay -family house - well equipped and clean - lovely walk to Chesil beach and easy access to weather
Great house in a great location. Yes it was on a main busy road but it didn’t bother us at all. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Lovely house. Would recommend.
Our party of 7 ranged from age 1 to 90 years but Littlecot ticked all the boxes. Plenty of room , very comfortable and easy parking. We had a fantastic weeks stay
