Stayed Dec 13, 2024Property was spacious, clean and well equipped. The view was stunning from the rear of the property and the garden enclosed which was perfect as we had our dog with us.Only a couple of little niggles such as one of the bedroom doors not shutting properly, a hole in the plaster of the living room wall living room wall,

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were a party of ten (Two families with teenagers from 13-18) so we had the whole house. The house was spacious and clean. The ground floor consists of a double bedroom, wet room/wc, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and fridge, living / dining room and a utility room with two tumble dryers and another washing machine with access to upstairs. There is also a patio and rear lawn area. The middle floor is at front ground level with a large L shaped fully equipped kitchen With dining area to seat 10 and a living area. The large fridge freezer has cold water and ice dispenser. Large digital TV with free wi-fi a balcony and a toilet. Upstairs is a large double en-suite room with bath & shower, a twin room, another bedroom with large twin bunk beds (sleeps 4) and another shower room / wc. The kitchens were very well equipped and the furniture was comfortable. We had a great time and booked 2 outings with SeaSports South West which the house owner Sue runs with her family. Five of the kids had a 1 hour paddle board lesson and another day six of us took out three double kayaks. It was great fun and very reasonably priced - it is also safe as the sports are based in the marina and river estuary where it can be supervised by the SeaSports team especially if you aren’t having a lesson so don’t have an instructor with - just booking the equipment as we did with the kayaks. It’s a friendly family run business. Teignmouth is small and has nice pubs / restaurants and cafes. They are the best beaches we have been on in the uk and two of us enjoyed running along the seafront and up the hill in the morning. We had a great time and highly recommend it. Stayed Dec 31, 1969Four generations stayed here for a family birthday celebration and from 3 to 84 years we enjoyed our stay. Great house for a large sociable gathering, with a seperate apartment to escape to. Well equipped. Clean and very comfortable. Gorgeous Sea view. Easy walk to Teignmouth but steep hill on return walk. Dog loved it. Didn't need to use the car; walked, bus & train. The only negative: noise travels easily throughout the house and I would not be happy to stay in the garden apartment if the main house was occupied by another family.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Oreston House was a great place for our family reunion. A modern house with plenty of space, very well equipped and comfortable. The Sea View was nice but the location is quite a distance from the town centre and the sea. The walk into town is manageable but on a steep hill so driving or bus was the preferred option. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property is very well maintained and it was lovely to stay there. Small issues parking access is more difficult than the picture suggests and it’s a little far to walk into Teignmouth if you just want a stroll
