Stayed Dec 25, 2023What a wonderful stay on Seabrook Island. The house did not disappoint. The kitchen is well stocked and enough room for the family. The house is a stones throw to the beach and easy access to all the community has to offer.

Stayed Nov 12, 2023Beautiful home. Loved the upside down style of the house ( 3 bedrooms on the lower level, kitchen, living spaces and one more bedroom on upper level). Nancy’s attention to detail made every room in the house extremely comfortable. Being able to look out from or walk out to decks from just about any room was extraordinary. Having a house within walking distance to the beach was another plus. Staying in a home close to John’s Island and only an hours drive into downtown Charleston was yet another added benefit of staying in this wonderful home. All eight of us thank Nancy for opening and sharing her home with us.

Stayed Jun 11, 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this house! First, the access to the beach was perfect - just a short walk down the block to the boardwalk. The house itself is very nicely renovated, plenty of space for our group of 8. The kids very much enjoyed the hammock swing on the lower deck, (there was a second larger hammock, but it was not yet installed - that would definitely be a bonus!), finding sand dollars around the property, and the comfy sofa and huge flatscreen for movies. There was also lots of space for puzzles and cards while we waited out the mid-day heat between pool and beach trips. The adults enjoyed the screened in porch for reading, coffee, cocktails and nature viewing. We saw horses each morning on the bridle trail that runs alongside the property, many birds, and even a bobcat and her kittens! The fans were great so that even on the hottest afternoon, the porch was still pretty comfortable. The beach club pool is a short drive away, but we preferred the Lake House pool for our younger kids (less busy, especially in the morning, and you can bring your own towels and coolers). We love coming to Seabrook and especially enjoyed walking to watch the dolphins feed at low tide (a long walk, but the kids made it, and there were tide pools and many conch shells along the way!). The house itself has everything you need - beach chairs and a wagon, very well stocked kitchen and a great library. Several of the adults found the pillows too thick and a bit uncomfortable, and the mattress in the master suit could use a pillow top mattress topper, but those were the only minor complaints. We also had a good experience with the property manager - there was an issue the first night with some very large ants in the upstairs bedroom, but they sent someone out early on Sunday to patch up where the ants were coming in, and a follow-up call from the management staff Monday to check on things. They also offered a partial refund for the poor night's sleep. Very much appreciated. Overall a great experience.
