Beautiful property. We would love to return for a longer stay in the future. I nice alternative to the muggy Salt Life here on the Georgia Coast.

The view is amazing! The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures and the neighborhood is nice and quiet.

Property had a great view on a nice level lot. Nice dock. Negatives were property is very outdated. 1970 era baths and carpet. It was dirty. Towels and linens were ragged. Bathrooms were small, carpets were dirty and stained. No trash pickup. Either you take it yourself or leave 5.00 for each trash bag for the cleaning people to remove.

The lake views from this property are incredible, porches on all sides. The open living space in the house is very spacious and comfortable. The house is very dated and needs updating. The dishwasher didn't drain, the counter top in the kitchen and the sink are cracked. We changed out lightbulbs and the carpet in the master is old and dirty.I didn't feel like it was real clean. Pet friendly was nice!

The pros - loved the stairs on the dock instead of the normal ladder. I have difficulty with my legs so this helped me a lot. I also loved the feel like this was my grandmothers place. My grandmother house was on the water.The cons- since I have trouble walking, I have trouble sitting. The toliets are so low. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Wonderful layout of the rooms. Very large family room. With lots of decks and sun room. Loved having a covered boat dock for our boat

Great experience! We did see improvements in property since our last visit. A few additional upgrades needed. Ladder needs to be replaced on dock. Overall, another great family stay !

The house is situated on a lovely corner lot, and it's clear that it used to be well cared for. However, it definitely needs a lot of love and attention! While an older home has its charm, a thorough cleaning would make a significant difference. Every surface needed cleaning upon check-in. The rental company mentioned that they would provide only basic supplies, so it would have been nice to have toilet paper in all the bathrooms and, at a minimum, a multi-purpose cleaner in the home to wipe things down. The towels and linens have seen better days, as most have a few holes. The kitchen sink has cracks and is falling apart. The tiles in the sunroom came off the floor, and the toilet seat in the master bath was broken. Additionally, the stairs and the railings on the porch posed safety hazards as many of the railings were falling apart with exposed nails at foot level.

It’s an older home that would benefit from some repairs (kitchen counters, toilets, carpet (removed) flooring in sun room I liked the older home, as did my family We liked the large living area and all of the seating, plus the sun room and all the different deck options over all wonderful place to stay (4bedrooms (although you did have to go through one bedroom to get to the other and if you need to go to the bathroom , you have to pass through another bedroom (not ideal but worked for usGreat neighborhood/ maybe 5 miles from Hartwell /6 from Walmart/ ingles and aldis. Loved it wasn’t on the road / plenty of privacy on one side/ house right on you on the other/. Wasn’t bad/

We have stayed here multiple times in the past and will not allow this experience to keep us away. We love this house!The house needs a deep cleaning. Spider/dust webs were everywhere …… cabinets, corners, and ceilings. Big webs…. Very easy to see. The floors need to be completely mopped after each rental. There were big spots that were black and sticky upon our arrival. Also, 2 of the beds looked like someone had laid on them after being made and we expect that the sheets had not been changed on either of them.I certainly understand mice getting inside homes but… please clean the drawers and cabinets of their droppings! Also each morning there was pieces of insulation in the floor around the floor vents. Someone may need to check underneath the house for damaged heating/air ducts. We spent over an hour getting this house healthy and inhabitable for our children and grandchildren, even cleaning mice poop.To the owners …. We love your house but, PLEASE, replace the carpeting. It is absolutely disgusting. Also …. The low toilets need to be replaced. We are definitely not “ bougee” people … we are just a middle class family who have had some of these issues in our own home … but take care of them immediately.During this trip, we noticed very low water pressure. We have never experienced this before at this house. Something may be need to be checked out.I really think that your company should drop in before a rental to assure its cleanliness.

Great place to stay with a big family. It has a big great room with a beautiful lake view. It also has a big dining table that we use for Thanksgiving dinner. The only negative thing is that the place was not cleaned, it had a lot of dust and mice poop in the cabinets and some of the rooms carpet. It also had a lot of stains on the carpets and the appliances to cook can use some update. Also, you have to pay 5 dollars peer bag to be taken out. We did some trips to take the garbage ourselves but the last morning we had to leave some money . Overall, it was a nice stay.

Always enjoy our visit. House is wonderful, could use a little more TLC, but great for a relaxing weekend

We wanted a lake front property with a dock we could use and that’s exactly what this house provided. We had a great family vacation.

This is the second stay for my wife and I at this house and we absolutely adore this place! Great piece of property with wide open lake views, plenty of space, and everything you need for a fantastic week on the water.
