The house was amazing. My 2 cousins and myself stayed for 2 nights. We were so pleased with the house that I plan to bring my husband next time. The charm and beauty of this house cannot be described with words. I can only highly recommend so you can experience it yourself. It is also very close to Main Street.

Beautifully appointed home. Welcomed by deer in front and back yard upon arrival plus wine and fresh banana bread. Lights were on, fans were on and pertinent things were labeled. Would highly recommend for a stay in Fredericksburg!

Stop looking — this is the one! We absolutely loved this adorable home with all its character and charm. It was super spacious for my husband, our daughter, and her friend, and perfectly located within walking distance to all the Fredericksburg hotspots!

this was our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first. The property is super close to Main Street and all of the action and we can’t wait to stay here again.

Everything was perfect. It was so close to Main Street. We loved watching the deer in the evenings. Great place and we will stay here again!

We loved our stay at the historic Texas Rose home. Hosts provided complimentary banana bread, wine, coffee, sodas, water etc. My husband, myself and adult son stayed for 2 nights in this gorgeous home. I used the claw foot tub and enjoyed coffee each morning on front porch swing. My husband and son enjoyed the hot tub each evening. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Texas hill country!! Great location for easy walk to all the shops, restaurants, and bars on Main Street. Loved it!! Lori B

Great stay with lots of extras.

this was a quick getaway for friends and it is an absolute charm of a house. It is clean easily accessible to Main Street and restaurants incredibly quiet with comfortable beds a well stocked kitchen and ample room for a party of four. We look forward to coming back in October and staying here if available

This house was a home away from home! The home was very welcoming! It was clean, well stocked (thanks for the home made bread and wine!), beds were comfortable, close to downtown and restaurants! This is the second time we have stayed in this home and will stay again next time!! Absolutely Perfect!!

What an adorable house! We had a blast on our long weekend in Fredericksburg. The beds are comfortable. The living room is cozy. The kitchen is pretty well appointed. Water pressure in the showers was great. Easy walk to Main St. and many restaurants, shops, and one of the best WWII Museums I've ever been to. If we have the privilege of returning to Fredericksburg, we will seek out this property again.

Our stay at Texas Rose was beyond our expectations. Nila and David were the perfect hosts and answered any questions we had. The home itself is just beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The have thought of everything. We cannot wait to come back again:)

From check in to check out, we enjoyed every minute of our time at Texas Rose. The historic property is the perfect blend of old charm and updated amenities. We found the home to have a comfy, cozy feel to it. The flow of the spacious home works extremely well and as two couples traveling together it was nice to have a downstairs and upstairs suites. The location of the home is ideal for downtown activities--shops, restaurants, the library, and churches. The owners seem to have thought of every detail to allow for a delightful stay.

When you stay here, you feel like you have been treated like a star. They didn't hold back on the little things that make you feel special. On top of that, it was perfectly clean. Not a speck of dust or dirt. Beds were excellent, would like to know where they got the sheets. They were excellent also. You won't be disappointed if you stay at Texas Rose. And I'm just betting that all of the Absolute Charm properties are top notch.

There were four of us all 74 - 78 years old. My cousins and I wanted a place to get away and relax. We found that while staying at this beautifully decorated Texas Rose House. The house was clean and comfortable. We were welcomed with treats that made us feel special. I would definited stay again.

Quaint, Clean, Cozy, Convenient yet Quiet location, this house checked all the boxes for the three of us. We felt right at home the moment we walked in the door. The banana walnut bread and bottle of wine were nice touches. The bedding and linens were also appreciated. A wonderful place to stay; highly recommend.
