Stayed here with 3 other couples and loved the house. Big open spaces, kitchen and butlers pantry was great. Very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the location in the marshes of the preserve. Perfect for our Kiawah marathon run.

Beautiful and spacious home with access to walking and biking trails and kayak launch site. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

We LOVED this property! This is the first time in 8 years of visiting Kiawah Island we have not booked with Kiawah Island Resort. It was literally perfect. It was an easy bike ride to the beach, & we loved the pool and the marsh view. The home was spotless, large, and everyone was comfortable and happy. Thankful for our time and the memories made here.!

We had a great time in this house and it was the perfect location for us. Quiet but easily accessible to the bike trails. Having the pool heated was a must! Can’t wait to come back!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: last year’s week at the house was spectacular so we been another week for this year. both during COVID so the pandemic shouldn’t be used as an excuse to justify the disappointing experience this year. the house has numerous items missing from the kitchen (glassware, pots, pans) which were replaced upon us flaking a request. then there were many items broken (2 coffee pots, side sink), light bulbs needing to be replaced (bathrooms), not enough towels for 10 people and the towels provided needed to be replaced as they were well-used and stained. the house was not cleaned most evident by the hardwood floors. there was no broom in the house. i had to mop on my hands and knees twice due to bugs being attracted. when people pay 10k a week for house, what we experienced was completely unacceptable and had caused us to not return next year and use akers. the house is awesome however the management company is doing the owners a disservice by providing a subpar service to guests.

Our family absolutely LOVED our stay in this house. It was private and secluded, and the pool was perfect for us to enjoy all week. The property was very clean when we arrived. We LOVED the kitchen — it was super well supplied for a family that loves to cook. We had one minor issue and the property manager was prompt to respond and send someone out to take care of it. We will absolutely be staying here again soon!

Beautiful home. Really enjoyed the heated pool.

The house met expectations. Great space and good pool (enjoyed the pool heater!). Loved the screened in porch and deck. It is in a great location away from the main roads. Great for families. Agency was very responsive to questions. Only issue is that bed linens could use a refresh - otherwise highly recommend.

We had an issue with a stove propane leak and Akers Ellis could not have responded more quickly. The layout of the house was great and the kids has tons of room. The only issue we had was that the house was not very clean when we arrived. Dusty and the floors were dirty. Also, the showers had mold in them and the sinks in the bathrooms had mold in the drains and were clogged. I had to do a deep clean of my own. The house needs a profession third party to do big deep clean. Also, the bed in the master bedroom was a bit caved in from use. I would consider replacing the bed in the master bedroom. But, we did love the house overall and would rent it again. Plus Akers Ellis was great to work with.
