This charming 3-bed, 3-bath dog-friendly vacation home is in the South Beach area of Sea Pines. *Heated private pool, spa, and just a short walk to the beach; this house is perfect for families or small groups. Also close by are all the activities offered by the South Beach Marina, including charter fishing, water sports, shopping, entertainment, and, of course, the island's famous Salty Dog Cafe.

The open layout and proximity to the beach are ideal for the whole family. The main levelhas the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The living room opens up to the expansive pool deck. Enjoy a barbecue with family and friends while relaxing at the poolside. Rather than stay indoors, the fully stocked kitchen makes preparing a home-cooked meal a breeze. The dining room has seating for six. The three bedrooms in this home all have private bathrooms. There are two king suites and a bedroom with two double beds. This Sea Pines home is the perfect vacation spot for your next family vacation!

    the location is great with easy beach and bike path access. the only downside could be the limited parking but that was not an issue during our stay. I was thrilled that it was available 6 hours before our checkin time! That allowed us to unpack early and get our vacation started!

    3 Scaup is a very nice rental property. The location is great. Walk through the backyard, cross the street and you’re at the short path to the beach. The Salty Dog is a short drive/ bike ride away. The house is clean and comfortable. The pictures make it look a bit larger than it is. The space is adequate, we just expected it to be larger based on the photos. It’s a little tired, especially on the outside. We really enjoyed the pool. At its deepest, it’s about 5 and a half feet. The hot tub is nice, but it doesn’t have jets to massage you. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again.

    Had a great time at 3 Scaup Ct. The property, while somewhat dated, gives beach vibes and is perfect for small families! Would highly recommend due to its pool/spa and close proximity by walking to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

    We had a wonderful stay at this property and would definitely recommend it to others! The location was exceptional—just a quick 5–7 minute walk to the beach, and having Tower Beach nearby with restroom access made beach days extra convenient. Being right around the corner from the Salty Dog and other amenities was nice too.The house itself was comfortable, clean, and well-suited for a family getaway. The pool area was a highlight for us, with plenty of space to relax after a day at the beach (although the bugs were terrible this year!).That said, there are a couple of updates that would make future stays even better. The mattress in the primary bedroom could use replacing, and the landscaping around the pool area could use a little refreshing to really make the outdoor space shine.Overall, though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, loved the location, and appreciated the amenities. With a few small updates, this property would be truly outstanding!

    Property is ideally situated within Sea Pines on southern most coast. Very convenient to get to South Beach Marina and Salty Dog Cafe. Only steps away to get to the beach. Pool was wonderful retreat. Home is as described with three nice bedrooms all with private bathrooms. Family room well laid out with soaring ceilings throughout the home. Will definitely look to book this home again.

    Small and functional house Three nice size bedrooms each with their own bath. Nice kitchen and laundry room. Nice little backyard. Wish it had been fenced. But very close proximity to the beach. We had a lovely time.

    Amazing stay at this property. Plenty of room. Only qualm was the dishwasher is positioned in a way that you can’t open some of the kitchen drawers all the way. Other than that, well stocked with essentials and check in was easy. Felt secure with the lock code and the pool was amazing! Even got cleaned while we were there. Bikes were great and it was so nice having a separate bathroom off of each bathroom. Nice big table for family meals and parking was super close and the property really was just a couple dozen yards from the beach! Absolutely would stay here again.

    By far the best asset of this property is its location!! Quiet neighborhood - steps from the beach - access to services. Property management company and property manager were very responsive. As other reviews have shared - the house needs some updates - dishwasher and fridge need replacing. Beds were not ideal. Location made up for everything!!

    Overall the home was clean and in a great location. Very comfortable furniture and a good layout. The refrigerator and washer/dryer definitely need updating. Ice maker on refrigerator did make ice but the dispenser is broken and taped off. Other than that it was a great stay!
