False advertising. Looking at the pictures and the description you think you are in hotel at a ski lodge, but you end up in a motel in the town of Williams. Property owner told us he is also upset because that is not what he wants advertised and is now getting bad reviews. This property is American Best Motel. If you are expecting a motel in a nice town, this is the place. If you are expecting a ski lodge...look somewhere else. The owner was nice and the units were clean.
I rented 3 rooms at what looks like Elk ski lift resort however the pictures were of the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. When I arrived at the property indicated, it was American Best Value motel not at all what I rented. I spoke to an Expedia representative who proceeded to tell me that I got the 3 rooms that I rented and that both the ski lift and the Grand Canyon Railway were near by. I explained that it was false advertising and that nothing in my itinerary stated I was renting a motel, after 2 hours on the phone, he refused to refund me on the basis of stating that just because picture ls are on the site doesn’t mean that is what I’m getting.
