Great location to vineyards and farmers market. We weren’t in the house a lot, but beds were comfortable, and it was nice having a washer and dryer.

This place allowed us to have great access to downtown, and was not far from the Ottawa Beach. It was in a nice neighborhood, and easily accommodated our large family. There was a lovely restaurant and coffee shop nearby that we were able to walk to, and we loved that. Due to the location alone, we would consider staying her again. We would’ve preferred some more privacy indoors and shade from the evening sun, as the curtains were very see-through or there weren’t any. The bed that we slept on was not AS comfortable as we would have preferred. As a personal preference, the home decor was VERY old - and some updated decor/furniture pieces would’ve made our stay more comfortable. Also, we would’ve preferred not having to leave certain lights on all the time while in the home.

My three sisters and I totally enjoyed our stay at your house. We enjoyed the house very much with it antique decorating style. We were quite comfortable. We love being able to walk to the neighborhood parks and the downtown. Also, there is a lot to do in Holland and surrounding areas. We had adventures in Saugatuck, went on a Dune ride. We also went to grand Haven, which was lovely. Being able to have a fire in the fire pit every night was so great for us. We would gladly spend time there again if the chance came up!

The location was great and the property is beautiful. The beds, especially the main level seriously need to be replaced. It was awful. The stairs are very narrow going upstairs so if there’s any mobility issues, don’t plan on going up there. There are many other mentions of this, but the extremely thin sheers on the upstairs windows need to be replaced with something that blocks even a little bit of the light. There is a factory with bright lights across the street so even when it is dark out you can’t sleep because the sheers basically do nothing. One bedroom upstairs does not get any air conditioning so it was very hot. If the main level bed and curtains get addressed it would be much better. The house had everything else needed, great parking, you could see the water from the one window and you could get to everything easily. We brought our bikes so it was nice to have a backyard to keep them in.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was close to a park and not to far from Lake Michigan. The only thing I would say bad is the beds were a bit hard on our backs.

Clean, comfortable, accessible, host very responsive--answering questions we had that he had already answered in the welcome email and we had missed! Loved the clocks and lamps, and location is easy to walk to downtown and the park, and an easy quick drive to beaches.

The home had plenty of space and had everything we needed for a short get away. Keys were easy to locate, the kitchen had all of the gadgets, WiFi was easy to connect to and had great signal. If you have younger kids or prefer darker spaces to sleep, plan to bring something to cover the windows as they are only covered by sheer curtains.

Quaint old house, like staying at grandma's house! Modernized kitchen and bath, very functional. Actually plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 toddlers, though with more and older guests the use of the bathroom could be a challenging schedule. Nice neighborhood, great location next to the large Kollen Park. Easy to drive to restaurants and activities, but Holland is not huge! I would stay again!

It was very convenient close to downtown. We however, thought the beds are real hard and it needed real curtains to keep the sun light out. I needed things like Kleenex tissue … and better furniture and lighting in the bathroom . Kitchen was a good

We arrived and got in with no problems. Great location to downtown and in walking distance to Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant and nice park close by! The house was very clean and cute. The upstairs bedrooms were nice size but the curtains could be a little darker. Too much light came in and I like it dark when I sleep. I get the mattress protection but our sheets kept coming untucked and drove me crazy ( haha short trip)! The dining table chairs could use a little padding! The lighting I. The downstairs bedroom could be a bit brighter. You couldn’t see anything. We couldn’t figure the tv out with the CC, we couldn’t turn it off. Other than those few personal issues we had a great time and I would recommend this location for future use.

This is a beautifully maintained historical home full of character. We were a family of 6, ranging from 13 to 74 and having one bathroom was challenging at times but we knew that ahead of time. This being an older home has about 20 steps to the 2 upstair bedrooms and the steps are short, a little scary for this 68 year old. The home is situated in sort of an industrial area, one of them being Heinz Company (now we know why sometimes we smelled pickles). Kollen Park is just 2 blocks away and had entertainment 3 of the nights in the bandshell. Our morning walks to the bakery and being close to town was a big plus for us.

The house holds so much character. Landscaping is phenomenal. Beautiful view of the water just across the way. Nice park within easy walking distance. We were in town for a wedding at the Boatwerks. Perfect location for this. The only complaint we had were the upstairs beds were uncomfortable but this could be an easy fix with a mattress topper. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
