3-Bdrm Villa Chairman's Circle - Gold Band All-Inclusive or BLACK Band Upgrade

The owner was extremely communicative and prompt. Property we were at needs updates. Plumbing issues and we ran out of water, the well ran dry. It was filled quickly. Slihjt hiccup with the golf cart but owner refunded for the missing day. Overall property villa was on was beautiful.

The place was nice. We had a FABULOUS TIME!!! It's not what was in the photos - you are assigned a villa at check in, We had issues throughout the trip - not the fault of the owner at all but rather the lack of communication at the resort itself. Here are a few examples - the A/C never worked properly (and sometimes not at all) in 2 of the 3 bedrooms - this was reported nearly every day and they would get it working, then it would quit. We opted for the additional package that gives you beer, soda, water and bottles of alcohol in the villa. They only give you one bottle of beer per person each day - our group preferred to hang at our pool vs. the very noisy ones around the resort. The initial pre-ordered alcohol was wrong - took a few days to get it sorted out. The very worst thing was the golf cart. We reported this on day one. They said they had no other carts but they would send someone to fix it. No one came - reported again, no one came, reported again, no one came, now it's leaving puddles of oil everywhere we go - so kept on reporting it. No one ever came to fix it. It sounded like the muffler was gone - people we passed would comment on how it had a problem, we agreed. But nothing was ever done. To be fair, I didn't reach out to the owner - the resort kept telling us they would fix it. Meanwhile dozens of carts sitting around not being used - but nothing for us to use... Did I mention our stay was FANTASTIC even with the issues??? Great time with great friends!

Overall: We had an amazing time. The villa was wonderful, private pool was awesome, though there was an unfortunate issue with water supply during our stay (details below under Villa). Staff was very friendly, beaches were nice. Food was overall good with a couple misses. Golf cart was very fun. Incredible trip for the price, and it would be a 5/5 but we didn't feel we could rate it that for our specific trip due to the water issue. Villa: Wonderful pool, breakfast in villa was awesome. It should be noted that you will not necessarily get the villa in the pictures but will get one of the size you requested. AC very nice. Unfortunately there was an issue so we had minimal running water in the villa throughout our trip. Multiple staff members called maintenance for us and they were very responsive, however it was difficult to have flushing toilets one minute and then not have them the next. We found out it was due to a car crashing into a water reservoir tank, so I wouldn't think it would be a factor for future guests, and I did think the staff response to the issue was very good. Food: We enjoyed all of the restaurants we went to and there was a wide variety of options. The only thing is that there's no drink menu so you have to guess what they have. Men should bring pants. They didn't really care about the fanciness, but I saw them make multiple men in shorts put on pants that they brought them from the back. Bars: Very nice, menus with options, bartenders all very friendly. Beaches: VIP beach was very nice, there's waiter service and small pools that were very enjoyable to sit in and watch the ocean. Golf cart: Made transport around the property much easier/quicker because it's huge. Was also very fun although our golf cart had a very broken seat, which was unfortunate given there were many unbroken ones sitting unused outside the office. Other: Bring sunscreen! I'm not sure if this is common at all resorts but sunscreen was 30 USD for a normal bottle. In terms of timeshare recruiting, no one ever bothered us although we are young and probably look like we can't afford a timeshare. The spa people will try to get you to buy. If they approach you while out, everyone left us alone quickly after we said we already had a massage (which was very nice)

We enjoyed our stay here. The villa was clean and as described. We had requested a private villa/pool area at the end of the road and the villa they assigned to us was just as we had asked for! The service is good, although there is a communication barrier with many of the workers not knowing English. We enjoyed the band upgrade and felt it was worth the money.

We had a wonderful time at the Lifestyle Holiday Resort in Puerto Plata. The weather, resort and amenities were fantastic. We had some small issues with the Villa where the plumbing backed up during our last day, but didn’t effect our stay. Thank You again!

John was an excellent host and was able to answer all of my questions. The Lifestyle Vacation resort suited our needs really well as there were many pools, beach fronts, restaurants, friendly staff and most importantly a great night life. The highlight of this trip was the restaurants and the food, so if you really like all inclusive resorts and enjoy eating at 4/5 star restaurants this is the place to go!
