We had a wonderful stay

Mixed reviews. There were lots of good things about this place that I’ll address in a moment, but there are a few things anyone renting this place needs to fully understand. Number one there is no dining room and no dining room table. When it says dining for six, I think they mean the picnic table under the house. Also, as cute as the spiral staircase is, it is impossible to get any suitcase, other than a carry-on size up the stairs. I was traveling with two elderly ladies, and they really struggled. That being said, the property location is amazing. The beach is beautiful. Everything was clean. the kitchen was well stocked and we really enjoyed our stay.

It is a beautiful apartment. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and have our own spaces. The upper floor was a bit tricky to get luggage up the spiral staircase, but it was not insurmountable. The upper king bedroom was beautiful with the personal balcony. The views were stunning. We loved being steps from the beach, and we walked on the beach every night.

The location is perfect! House was clean and host was amazing. However,, if your traveling with senior citizens or small children, the spiral staircase is a safety hazard and problematic getting up and down. Otherwise, highly recommend for young adults with teenagers.

Great location with great ocean view. Loved sitting on the porch swing and watching the waves.

We enjoyed our stay at Jackson’s Corner - a quick Thanksgiving weekend trip. It was so nice to see the ocean, and the home is clean, comfortable. and well-appointed. Check-in was easy peasy. Thank you for a delightful stay in Oak Island!

House and location were perfect. Fantastic view. Already planning our next trip. Owner was very nice and accommodating.

Loved using the porch and the pups did too. Easy to walk anywhere you need to!

The best aspect of this is the location. We could zip to the beach in minutes and go back and forth to the property as needed all day. The empty lot across the street was wonderful for being able to see the ocean. The outdoor shower is really nice and has super hot water. The downside is probably the tight spiral staircase and the AC was a little weak upstairs so we found it a bit warm overnight even with the AC really low. We had a minor issue with a broken bathroom faucet but the hosts responded with a repair quickly. Overall we had a great time.

The location of this property is great. It is literally steps away from the ocean and the views are priceless. We enjoyed the swing on the deck and the outdoor shower was a big hit! The spiral staircase is very narrow and steep, it is definitely precarious. The host is very easy to contact and responds in a timely manner. Overall a great stay, but the unit wasn’t cleaned properly prior to our arrival in my opinion.

The view is spectacular. The access to the beach is ideal. The owner was easy to reach. It is close to grocery stores and beach shops, even walkable. While it says it sleeps 8, it is quite tight. The spiral staircase that leads to two of the three bedrooms, including the master suite, is precarious and very narrow. Be advised.

Great location! The spiral staircase was difficult to maneuver for average sized people 5'5 to 5'10 and 150 to 180 lbs. Very clean unit, had everything we needed.
