Cambria, California
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Located in the hills above the East Village, known as Lodge Hill, this fun glamping experience is a once-in-a-lifetime fun adventure sleeping in one of 2 set-ups…a cabin or the treehouse…not your ordinary treehouse, a luxurious one! Just minutes from Moonstone Beach, walking distance to the East Village in downtown Cambria and minutes to Fern Canyon Trailhead.
This Glamping experience has all the conveniences you need to enjoy comfort and the great, outdoor spaces. The cabin acts as a living room and sleeping quarters complete with a kitchenette and coffee station. The treehouse is comfortable with skylights and wall of glass to take in the stars at night. The fenced in grounds feel like a comfortable and well-established campsite.
SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS
The cabin accommodations feature a queen sleeper sofa that is your living by day and bedroom by night. The sofa converts to a memory foam queen bed for sleeping or napping. The cabin also has a chest of draws, ceiling fan and coffee station/work desk. A 32” TV, there for your entertainment pleasure, is equipped with Spectrum Cable and a Roku.
The treehouse sits atop a mature, Spanish moss-covered oak. The room features a queen bed, a 32” TV along with 3 skylights and a wall of ceiling to floor windows. The pine wood walls and ceiling give a rustic feeling and charm.
A separate bathroom with a single vanity and stand-up shower is there for all to use. Amenities are provided.
LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Interior)
The cabin is your interior living room. The sofa seats up to 4. But the main “living space” is outside on the camp grounds.
LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Exterior)
The grounds between the treehouse, cabin and bathroom act as your glamping campground. Central on the grounds is a wood-burning firepit surrounded by 5 Adirondack chairs. Hanging under the treehouse are a couple of swings for the kiddos, while mom and dad can relax on the hammock. And, of course, there’s a game of corn hole among other games there for all to enjoy.
The raised patio area includes a propane BBQ grill, a tall table with enough stools to seat 6 is your dining table. A lounge area with a love seat and two side chairs is the perfect spot for sipping cocktails before or after dinner with warmth from the fire pit. Stand up heaters, lights and umbrellas help adjust the climate conditions. Speaker that can be hooked up via Bluetooth can add music to set the mood.
And the centerpiece of it all is the outdoor theater and bar area. The whole group can sit and watch their favorite movies on a 75" SmartTV while enjoying their favorite beverage at the bar or sitting around the fire pit. Glamping has never been so fun or glamorous.
If you have a larger group, you can add Newton’s Nest to the rental, the main house on the property separated by the wooden fence. Have the adults stay in the house while the kids hang in the Treehouse side. The entire property can sleep up to 12. Everyone gets to enjoy.

I was really surprised by the amount of features in this property! From swings to a huge connect four, couch, tv, and more. Treehouse and separate shed for the other bed were clean as neat as well.
good times
Backyard is spacious and I really liked the two living areas. I always wanted to stay at a treehouse. Gets cold at nights but with the space heater they provided, it's no issue. Property was clean and I really enjoyed the outdoor area at all times of the day. Location was prime, and was very close and convenient. Would definitely recommend
Excellent GLAMping experience! Great space in a convenient beautiful neighborhood. The treehouse and cabin are really more than glamping, comfortable, very clean, well appropriated. Bathroom is small but very clean, could have used a few more towels if you are more than a couple. Outdoor area is fantastic, plenty of e seating, games, a hammock. Our. only issue was that the outside furniture hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while, there is a hose and we cleaned them ourselves. Minor but would make. big difference if regularly cleaned between guest. Owner communication was fantastic too . Thank you!
The property is such a great outdoor adventure. It was perfect for our family. There were games and plenty of space to keep our kids entertained. The tree house was a hit has a very whimsical feel to it. Kathy was easy to get a hold of if needed and responsive. We would definitely come back for another weekend getaway!
Treehouse and cabin and yard were awesome and very dog-friendly.
This property is super fun. Four of us stayed there and really had fun. There's plenty of outdoor hangout spots on the property. It was raining and chilly but there are outdoor heaters and covered patios which totally worked. The tree house was fun and comfortable and the cabin was great too. The wifi never worked for us which was fine because we didn't need it but if you plan on working or needing the wifi at all just plan accordingly. The location was great. A little road noise from Hwy 1 but otherwise quiet. Plenty of hangout spots, Cornhole, outdoor tv and bar, bbq, etc. all outside and mostly on dirt/peagravel so keep in mind that even a late night potty trip will be similar to camping where you are walking across the grounds to the bathroom which is attached to the main house.
Treehouse and cabin were well separated for family. The large ground area is perfect for dogs. There were some electrical issues but owner did his best to not impact us and quickly got the entire panel upgraded so there should be no issues. Rental agency was great to work with - very responsive, even during holiday period.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and experience! We were here for a short weekend and wished we had booked a longer stay. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the property upon check in and he shared his recommendations for restaurants and a must do hike with coastal ocean views that was perfect for us and our dogs. My partner and I along with our friends and our 2 dogs enjoyed every aspect of the Tree House property! We BBQ'd our first night and made s'mores around the fire. We sat around for hours, chatting and enjoying the warmth of the fire and beauty of the stars. Staying in the tree house was so much fun and made all our childhood dreams come to life :) This is certainly a hidden gem along the coast! We will definitely be back!
This place was so much fun. 1 couple + bonus friend stayed for a fishing trip in Morro Bay. We had friends stop over after fishing and enjoyed the outside fire. Tree house is so cute. Bathroom is completely separate from each sleeping space so it felt a little like camping, but more fun!
My husband and I stayed at this wonderful spot for 5 nights and we absolutely LOVED it. We slept in the tree house which had such gorgeous light coming in thru the skylights. The bed was very comfy and the decor is so cute. The bathroom is in a separate building and also well designed. I loved that there were black make-up face towels in there - so clever! The blue cabin was where we would hang out, watch TV, eat our meals if we stayed in... it was wonderful. We used the gas fire pit which was so handy. The outdoor sink was such a thoughtful add and came complete with a dishwashing soap dispenser, a scrubby AND a brush in case you have a preference. We felt very safe on the property and the designated parking spot was a nice touch as well. Kathy was so kind to reach out to us when we accidentally left something behind. Thank you Kathy!
