This 4 bedroom house is tucked away on a quiet dead end street. The additional lot next door is great for kids to play in or pets to roam on. The inside of the house was recently repainted and several updates were made. The main level has 2 large bedrooms both of which have their own bathrooms. The bedrooms each have a queens size bed and dresser with a large closet. The large living room has a brand new 55'' flat screen tv situated just above the gas log fireplace. The new sectional couch islarge enough to accommodate 6-8 people comfortably. Also in the living room is a patio door leading onto the back deck. Half of the back deck is covered for those occasional rainy days. In the kitchen is a full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, a full size electric stove, and lots of cabinet space. The cabinets are furnished with the basics you will need for cooking. If you have a specific pan you will need for your cooking project I do recommend you bring one with you as we can not anticipate what everyone might be cooking. Hard plates, utensils, glassware, and paper towels are provided. You will need to bring your own paper plates and food storage containers. The kitchen table will is built to seat 6 with additional chairs stored in the garage for a larger group. Fold out tables are available by request.

Located on the lower lever is a huge carpeted area perfect for playing games. There is also a huge couch with a large big screen tv. The 2 downstairs bedrooms are furnished with brand new queen sized mattresses and both have large closets. The half bath is located downstairs also. The basement has 2 patio doors that lead to the outdoor concrete patio.

Located on the lower end of the lot is a fire pit for your enjoyment.

This house will comfortably sleep 8 people.

FAQs:

No more than 2 pets are allowed. There is a $100 fee for each pet. NO MORE THAN 25LBS EACH.

 There is room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. There is plenty of room for over flow parking, just let me know and I’ll show you where it is.

 Free wifi is provided

 ALL your linens are provided. I always recommend bringing your pillow for your comfort.

 The kitchen has basic pots and pans and utensils for your general cooking needs.

 There is a full size fridge and freezer in the kitchen.

 The neighborhood is located on a dead end street and is usually very quiet.

 Our neighbors’ kids play in the street so please drive with caution.

 The grill is propane and the propane is provided. Bring a lighter as ours tend to walk off.

 The outdoor grill is not cleaned by the cleaning staff, please clean up after yourself. Also, please excuse the last guest for not listening to the first part of this statement.

 The water is gently sloping and you can swim from the shore.

 The bottom of the lake is rocky and semi-muddy. I recommend wearing lake shoes.

 You can fish from the shoreline. KY fish and game laws apply.

 We have 3 docks on the bayside of the street for your use. The rental boats are kept at one of the docks also.


Everyone is welcome to come to the end of the street and use my lot on the point. I do ask that you respect our privacy.

• We have pontoon boats available for rent onsite. The boats are shared between all of our rental houses and I do recommend you reserve in advance, our rental site enjoylakebarkley.com (Click on boats). The boats are always docked at one of our docks. Once I have given you safety instructions you are allowed to use the boat from 9am until 30mins prior to sunset. NO night use. If you are out after dark I will assume you are missing and emergence personnel will be notified.
• No penalty for boat rain outs. If you reserve we do ask that you plan on using the boat or it will be deducted from your deposit. (seasonal april-september)
 I always recommend you bring your food with you. Our grocery stores are no comparison to the stores most are used to in the city.
*This house sleeps 6-8 comfortably. 10 is the maximum number of guests allowed. For each guests over 8 there is an additional $25 per night per person fee.

With being on the lake there is always a chance of bugs, please understand we do everything we can to keep the outside of the house clean but sometimes it just is not possible. June, July, and August have what is called a Mayfly hatch occasionally, they do not bite and are good for fishing.

If you get here and need something please let me know! I am (almost) always available by phone or email. Our cell service isn’t always the best so please leave a voicemail if I do not answer.

We also have 2 kayaks available.

Holidays require a 4 night minimum stay.

    This beautiful home sits on a dead-end road, right on the water. The views off the back deck are amazing, and the peaceful neighborhood made for a very relaxing vacation. Lucas was a great host! On our first night there, I texted Lucas that we were having trouble getting the TV in the basement to connect to the internet. He came right over, checked it out, and said it was an issue with the TV itself. Within 20 minutes, he had another TV set up, and the kids were watching cartoons. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kids had a great time fishing anytime they wanted, right in the backyard. We will definitely be booking with Lucas again!

    We all enjoyed our stay. The house has plenty of room for a large group. We had everything we needed during our stay. Gentle slope to the dock, and boat launch is very close to the property. Lucas is an amazing host. Literally, a phone call away. We plan on booking again.

    Sheets had makeup and lipstick on it. Not as clean as expected. Dirt in corners, coffee pot came apart when lifting lid.

    The house was nice and the view was great but the house was infested with ants and mosquitoes. They were through the entire house. There was bug spray at the house and we used it, it helped some. We had to call the property manager twice in two days. Once because the toilet was broken then again to replace the furnace filter. It was incredibly dirty and we had family with asthma staying. The response time was amazingly fast, thank you for that. We ended up leaving a day early, storms came thru and knocked out the power. This was obviously not their fault, but we could not stay the remainder of the trip. I’d rent from here again if there were no bug issues.

    Family friendly lake house. Our goal was to come to the lake for the long weekend, relax, rent a boat, cruise around and do some fishing. We were able to do all those things here with ease. We will probably come again and would recommend to others. I had my 5 children (11-20) and mother in law with me. We had plenty of space, the views from the deck were perfect! The area was quiet. Mr. Hale was very helpful and accommodating. The only thing I will do next trip is bring extra bath towels, extra blankets, and maybe my favorite cooking pans. Otherwise, we could not have asked for anything better! No complaints here. Thank you Mr. Hale for a wonderful weekend away!
