We did not use the pool. It was dirty. The steps going down to the pool were very dirty. The rest of the house was fine.

The pool was a disappointment. It was tiny and dark. The retention pond next to it made it a mosquito haven. We did not end up using the pool at all. The kitchen was a disappointment as well. All labels were worn off the stove so we didn't know what settings the burners were on. The pans were terrible - we ended up buying some to use - and missing basics like tongs or foil or filters for the coffee pot or salt and pepper. The beds were comfy and bathrooms were nice. Main floor bedroom guests were disappointed to find no hanging space in the closet for their clothes. We ended up taking their clothing upstairs. They were the ones who actually paid for this house so it was a little embarrassing. Kitchen cabinets showing some major wear and tear. No sign of the parking pass that was mentioned on the fridge. Sleeps a ton but only parks 4 cars. Great location on the island. All in all it was a mixed bag. Probably wouldn't stay here again but we did appreciate being able to get together for our father's memorial service.

The size of this unit was perfect for 9 adults and 2 children, age 9 and 6.The sectional sofa was great since everyone could fit comfortably.The pictures were very nice but notice there are no pictures of the bathrooms. I assume they were omitted because several lacked towel racks and the holes in the the wall ( where the racks had been) had not been fixed.There were not enough dinner plates. The cookware was old and basically unusable. The stove was difficult to use since the dial information had been removed.The master on the main had 2 closets with shelving and no where to hang clothing.One bedroom upstairs did not have a dresser making it impossible to unpack.Such easy fixes could help greatly in making a stay better.

We booked this home for a 60th birthday celebration with family and were so excited for our stay. Unfortunately, the home was very dirty, dated, and had so many things wrong with it. The home is in a great location (close to the beach, quiet neighborhood, close to dining options) but the house itself was a total let down. Main issue the floors were absolutely FILTHY from the moment we walked in. Our feet were covered in black dirt within minutes of being there. The fan in the stairwell leading to the pool area wasn’t working and it was filled with mosquitoes and bugs. Once in the pool area, the lights were very shotty and barely worked. The outdoor furniture was covered in spider nests and looked awful and uninviting. The pool itself looked dirty and old, but seemed to be in OK condition. I reached out to the property manager the first night regarding the fan and pool lights and they sent someone over to “fix” it. They dropped off a new fan, but the lights still didn’t work properly. The next day we asked if someone could come clean the floors and take care of the outdoor couch cushions so we could enjoy the pool area with the kids. They did send someone over while we were at the beach, but the floors were still disgusting when we got back (we had to wear shoes in the house at all times) and the couch cushions hadn’t been changed; they just flipped them over and called it good. Sadly we were unable to use the pool and outdoor area for the duration of our trip because of this.

The house looked so beautiful on line, however we were upset by the cleanliness of the house. • dishes were put in kitchen drawers and cabinets dirty. Cups had actual hair and dirt on them. Utensils were filthy. Dirty pan with eggs stuck on it was still in dishwasher. •broken faucet in master bathroom. Toilet didn’t flush (chain had fallen and continued to fall of all week)•dirty rust covered vent covers•no place in downstairs closet to hang clothes•lots of mosquitoes when opening door to pool that flew inside. Several of us got bit at night. House looks likes it was renovated but needs to be kept up and clean!•unfortunately there is more that I won’t mention. Positive was the manager came right away for pool issues ( I asked that it be cleaned upon arrival so kids could get in after traveling. It was dirty and the 300 extra I paid for heat wasn’t on). He also came right away to give us a coffee maker. The one there didn’t have a pot.

Needs a bit of upgrades. Stove top unreadable, no grill brush, needs some decent knives, little things. Otherwise property was comfy, great beds, clean. Thank you!

We had a great time celebrating our parents 50th anniversary. Being near the park and beach was perfect and allowed for entertainment for all the kids. The dining area was great and accommodated our whole group of 18. My only critiques are we could have used more blankets and the dryer was not able to dry clothes.

Location was good for our tennis team playing state championships. Directions how to access garage door, except for code, never mention. No access code outside garage. Pool area downstairs was disappointing since we were hoping to use the area for socializing. Pool was very dirty. House book for directions to use house products never found. So, no directions to how to use the fireplace, etc. Not all Upstairs electrical outlets were usable. Light flickered in most rooms. Faucet missing on one sink. Towel rack missing. Carpet was Tripp able, showers were difficult to turn on. Downstairs actually quit working on last day. Broken shelves in closets. There were so many minor problems that made our stay less comfortable for us.i sent not in the VRBO and never heard from the first note. Second not was responded but with lack on concern with our problems. We were not asking for an instant fix but letting the host know there were many problems with the house’s function. The one response to our txt was grammar errors which made us think this host is not American. So disappointing for this house. We loved the sitting area in the living room! It has a nice kitchen but not enough cooking pots and pans. For a house with great possibilities to be A+ , so many minor problems needed to be fixed. I will not recommend this to my friends unless these problems are fixed

Good location. Lovely home. Nice view

We enjoyed our visit. However the pool area downstairs we had to clean. House was nice. Wish the neighborhood had bike trails. The golf cart to the beach was a must the walk was definitely hard especially in the heat.

The house is a gem, and as a frequent HHI visitor, our group of Tennis Players loved the long weekend staying here. Chaplin Community Park had practice courts with lights - A bonus. The property manager was attentive and accommodated all our needs. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back. ??????
