219 Kings Island by Akers Ellis Rentals

Great family vacation and 219 Kings Island was the perfect fit. We cooked most of our meals and the very large kitchen was great. The grandkids loved the pool during the hot afternoons. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your property.

We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was well equipped with all our needs! There was plenty of room for the family to interact with everyone, especially the other sitting area to talk without a tv! We enjoyed having the bicycles immensely for some exercise and touring the island. The neighborhood was very quiet in order so get some restful sleep in the comfy beds! Will definitely come back for another stay!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is immaculate and was very clean. The house had all necessities for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed many walks on the secluded trails to the beach, and got a kick out of seeing the alligator swimming in the pond. The area is very high end and safe. We will definitely be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house we rented was a beautiful home with a swimming pool in a great location near the beach. However, the house was not well maintained. Given the heightened levels of cleanliness we expected due to Covid, the house did not even meet pre Covid standards. The coffee pot had remnants of coffee from the previous guests. The pool had mold around the edges. Furniture was stained. My family and I have been going to Kiawah for over 20 years and have never had this lack of attention to cleanliness. That being said, if the owners could make cleanliness a priority and replace or clean stained furniture, we would rent this house again.

Reviewer Comments: The house was fine but definitely had some end of season wear. Biggest disappointment was cleaning service which didn't do a good job. Lots of sand everywhere, trash left, laundry in washer, sheets/towels left on front porch for days until I called. Many lamps had bulbs not working with no spares. Great location, short walk to the beach, nice screen in porch. Our future not recommending may be more with realty company than house itself.

Tons of fridge space between the huge Sub-Zero fridge and the two drawer fridges built into the cabinets. Two ice makers was a plus. This house was perfect for our two families. The kids loved the big bedroom above the garage. We loved the screened in porch and the pool. The view of the golf course is wonderful, with a lagoon in between. Very peaceful setting. We saw lots of wildlife, including a mama deer and a fawn. The house is an easy walk to the beach. Everything was clean and well maintained. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat.

Reviewer Comments: Overall the home was nice, however when we arrived the pool deck and pool were litered with leaves and nuts from the surrounding trees. Unfortunately the trees with nuts overhang the pool so you had to scoop out the nuts every day. The home was missing a few items that would have made our stay more comfortable like: a broom to sweep off the deck or the floors, iron & ironing board, and extra blankets as the back rooms get really chilly (didn't really matter what we set the thermostat at). For the most part the home was clean, but could have been better as we had long black hair in one bed when we pulled back the sheets, dusty floor boards etc, but nothing major. Overall we had a good time and I would go back.
