Happy Trails is an incredible place to stay! We stayed with multiple families and everyone was super comfortable. The layouts of the houses are so conducive to prepping/returning from ski days. About 10 minutes drive to Big Sky Resort, super convenient. The kitchens had everything you could need - super well stocked with loads of glasses, dishes, bowls, and pots/pans.We loved making a winter fire and enjoying the evening sky. We especially enjoyed the party barn - hanging there every evening and playing lots of ping pong and billiards. It It was such a great layout for some of our crew to hang out late while others comfortably retired to bed earlier. Kevin and Kimbie were super responsive ahead of time and during our stay. We would recommend this place over and over again! Hope to come back again another time.

Oh my goodness!!!! This house was truly a blessing to our family as we celebrated the wedding of our daughter in Bozeman. We were able to have a really fun get together in the barn before the wedding and enjoyed having meal with extended family after the wedding.One of my favorite memories was watching my grandchildren sled down the hill and play in the snow for entire days!!! The host had set up a very fun launching slide.The fireplace was amazing. And many in our family enjoyed the fire pit too!After the wedding many of us skied in Big Sky (so fun for everyone) and some of us went to Yellowstone. On the last night we were able to see the northern lights with our phones. As we were leaving and driving to Bozeman, we enjoyed the snow falling down all around us.This house was beautiful and the nature all around it was majestic.

We had the most incredible Christmas stay at a luxurious home in Big Sky, and it was truly unforgettable. We spent the holidays with two families on this expansive 20-acre property, surrounded by breathtaking snowy landscapes. The home was picturesque, comfortable, and perfect for the season. We loved having two large, fully equipped kitchens and a party barn with pool, table tennis, and a bar. The main house also featured a cozy fireplace, making it feel warm and welcoming, even from thousands of miles away. Plus, it was incredibly convenient, being just a 10-minute drive from the Big Sky ski village and slopes, so we could easily go skiing on the days we were there. It was the perfect escape from Australia, and we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing property in Big Sky! Perfect location to enjoy all the beauty of Montana. We were a family of 15 ( 3 years to 76) and there was plenty of room to enjoy and spread out. The kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed having a chef come in 2 nights. We also attended the rodeo in Big Sky and had tours of Yellowstone. The party barn is full of amazing art work as well as ping pong, pool table and corn hole. Beautiful gathering space. The bathrooms were fully equipped with shampoo, lotion and toilet paper. Loved seeing the hot air balloons in the distance from the deck. The property is one of a kind ...you will love it

10/10!!! This rental made our stay in Montana a truly unforgettable experience. My family (17 of us total, ages ranging from 3 to 73 years), stayed here for a week this summer to explore the beauty of Montana. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. Not only is it a STUNNING property all around, it exceeded expectations in every way, giving our family the opportunity to truly kick back and enjoy our time together. The party barn quickly became the favorite spot for both kids and adults to hang....and the campfire of course! The rental location is PERFECT. You feel like you have the mountain to yourself, but if you drive a couple minutes up the road, you have easy access to restaurants, groceries, shopping, and all of the Montana activities you would want - whitewater rafting, horseback riding, fly fishing, etc. We did a Yellowstone tour one day and the Bozeman rodeo another, as both are only an hour drive from Big Sky. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay easier - from providing firewood, to toiletries and laundry soap, to indoor and outdoor games, bug spray, portable cribs, extra towels for all occasions, activity and restaurant recs, and even a freshly tapped keg of local beer! We never had to worry about running out last minute for more soap or toilet paper, plus there are two laundry rooms (which is so nice when traveling with kids!). I also have never slept so good...we all talked about the super comfy beds. Happy Trails is a MUST STAY!!!!

9 of us stayed at this beautiful house over President's Weekend. We had 4 adults, 2 kids age 14, 2 kids age 12, and 1 kid age 7. The kids loved having the party barn to retreat to and feel independent. It was fully stocked and perfect for them. The adults enjoyed the main house. The heated floors were a treat, and the fireplace was a dream. Our host was so kind and helpful with recommendations. We loved the location so close to town and the Lone Mountain Ranch Sleigh Ride. The snow came in fast and furious, and we thought we were going to have to stay a couple of extra days. Kimbie was responsive and sweet about accommodating us. There was a snow plow out every day to keep us safe and to keep us from getting snowed in. We had such a wonderful weekend making the best memories. Thank you for a great house and time.

This house was a dream come true! What an excellent place to go with a group of friends. We loved the party barn, hot tub and proximity to Big Sky Resort and downtown. We never wanted to leave! We will be coming back for sure in the future. A all around. Thanks!

The property and owner Keven were fantastic. Met us when we arrived and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything we good. It’s a wonderful property with a house and party barn. We had all ages and it worked perfect

Happy Trails was the perfect property for our multi generational family of 14!!with 2 Master suites and a bunk room in the main house and 2 master suites in the party barn plus 2 other bedrooms for kids , it fit us perfectly. The big living spaces in both houses were large and beautiful. The kitchens had everything we needed to prepare some delicious meals . The surrounding grounds were very neat and well done and the views off the decks was magical whether it was watching deer or hot air balloons- we will go back!!!

We had a great visit to Happy Trails. The two houses and common spaces were as good as we've ever rented. Our group of 13 were very comfortable, and the house set-up functioned exceptionally well. Perhaps most important, the host/owner (Kevin) was terrific. Very communicative and he made our stay remarkable.
