We had a great time at Casa de Kona! Mike and Debby were very communicative and accommodating. Location was great with the beach nearby. The place was very clean and had plenty of amenities, with a spacious backyard and patio area. I can’t recommend this place enough for any large groups planning a vacation in the area!

Everything about Casa De Kona exceeded our expectations. Debby and Mike are the most conscientious and considerate hosts I have ever encountered. Their home is well to-appointed, comfortable, and beautiful.

Ideal for families, particularly if you have small children. Hosts communicate really well. The two story unit is bigger than the pictures make it appear. Can't beat it.

Casa de Kona is such an incredible place to stay! The entire property was immaculate when we showed up, there was ample room for our large group, and all the places to spend time outside made for a really fun weekend. Mike and Debby were very responsive and accommodating, and you can tell they truly care about the experience their guests have. The location was really convenient to beaches and restaurants as well. We all loved our stay here, and would highly recommend Casa de Kona!

We just returned from a truly memorable 3-generation vacation with our family to San Diego and staying at Casa De Kona in Oceanside was the perfect retreat. The beautiful home resides in a safe, quiet neighborhood only 10 minutes from LegoLand and beautiful beaches . The house is beautifully appointed with two well-stocked kitchens , the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to accommodate our group of 13 including 6 grandchildren ages 4 months to 9. The outdoor space is fully fenced and includes many toys and activities for the whole family and multiple areas to enjoy including an outdoor room, spacious decks with multiple areas to sit or dine, a patio for barbecuing and a lawn for running and playing all arranged in a way that made it easy to supervise the children . Every detail was extremely well thought out and best thing of all was the communication with the owners . No question was left unanswered by the owners before, during and after our stay . We truly were not ready to leave and hope to return to make more memories. Our grandchildren are already asking when they can return !!

The first message I sent to Debby was Debby, your house is perfect! The house is better than the pictures! It provided comfort of home with the indulgence of a hotel — only better. The house is very well equipped and Clean . Since the villa is basically 2 houses, there was practically multiple of everything. Even steam irons ! Check in and CHECKOUT was super easy. There are ample board games, outdoor seating and heat lamps. There was a cake, handwritten card and snacks waiting for us on our arrival. Hosts are super responsive and accommodating. We all left feeling that this house hugely contributed to making our multifamily vacation (7 adults and a 2 yrs old) so much relaxed, enjoyable and fun.

I organized the stay at this beautiful property for family. Although I did not stay on site, the feedback from my son and nephews was 5 star. Very accommodating for children and adults. Beautiful yard and decks. Close to the beach and restaurants. Very easy to communicate with Debbie, she’s the nicest person!

I stayed here over spring break with a few friends and our 8-10 year old kids and it was just perfect. The kids played non-stop, (so many games and things to do here!) and the adults really enjoyed relaxing in the backyard or around the gas fire pit. The beds were really comfy too! We would definitely stay here again!

The property is stunning and fully equipped, making it an ideal spot for a family gathering.Plenty of toys and games for all ages. The home was immaculate and incredibly comfortable.

We were so pleased with all the beautiful outdoor patio/deck areas, especially loved the fire pits, heaters and comfortable furniture. The kitchen had every possible appliance you could want. We appreciated the delicious cake left as a welcoming gift. Everything was perfect. We had no need to contact the owners but they were certainly available if needed. 5 stars on all counts.

From the beginning to the end, Mike and Debby are fantastic hosts! The property is better than it is listed! All of the furniture, bedding, linens, appliances are so clean and of high quality. The location is close to nice walks, and lots of fun in nearby Carlsbad. I was there with girlfriends to celebrate my birthday, but it would be fantastic for families as well. We had so much fun playing games in the yard and choosing from the huge assortment of other games to play. Mike and Debby have thought of EVERYTHING you could need and more! We really didn’t want to leave! We cannot say enough good things about this home away from home. Book your stay and you will be delighted!

The property is even more spectacular than the photos portray! It is large and gracious with beautiful flow. The furniture and beds are comfortable as well as attractive. There is both a real peace to the home as well as a big WOW factor. The covered outside room is enormous and has games, yard toys, coloring books, crayons. The backyard is nestled a few steps below the wrap-around patio, so the kiddies could play as the adults talked and ate. We booked the whole property for our extended family of ten, including four kids: infant, 2, 3, 7. The two youngest slept in the provided pack-n-plays. The older two loved the bunkbed in the Disney room. The two toddlers ate at their child sized table and chairs. The rest of us fit comfortably around one of the dining sets outside with baby in the provided high chair. We went to the beach twice, better equipped than we've ever been - with boogie boards, umbrellas, chairs, towels, mats, coolers and a big old WAGON to schlep it all. Our 7-year-old went boogie-boarding for the first time and we had to drag her out of the water two days straight. Mike and Debby really are super-hosts. Debby answered all my questions before we arrived promptly and thoroughly. She was vicariously excited for us to come and experience their home and their town. Again - no amount of hype was an exaggeration. It truly was a dream vacation for us. THANK YOU!

My family had an excellent stay here. The home was modern and clean and the property was beautiful. Mike and Debbie were good communicators and the little touches they added made us feel welcomed and at home. Our stay was top notch.
