2 Mi to Beach! Oakland Park Home w/ Outdoor Oasis

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The layout of the house was fantastic, and the backyard pool area was especially inviting and beautiful. The spacious rooms made our group feel very comfortable, and the beds were quite comfortable as well.There are a few areas that could use some attention. One bedroom had mold on the baseboards and the door casing was peeling badly. The dining room chairs were wobbly and may just need the screws tightened. We also found that the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes and cutlery effectively, and one of the bathroom showers only had cold water.Access to TV apps was a nice bonus, and the layout of the property allowed for great opportunities for group time as well as quiet solitude when needed. Overall, the location was excellent and we were satisfied with our experience.

The house was perfect location with plenty of room for 6 adults.Host was very accommodating & allowed us to check out one hour later.Only negative comment was the hallway bathroom shower did not work properly.

Backyard is divine, with plenty of indoor space for us to relax and hangout. Quick drive to the beach, restaurants, grocery and liquor store!

Great location. Lots of room. Great outdoor area, large pool and pool deck. Had some maintenance issues with plumbing and air but they jumped on it immediately and corrected the issue. Perfect location, lots to do in the area, walking distance to restaurants. A few minutes drive to the beach. Family loved it.

We loved this space! Having two littles was a bit nerve wracking but it worked out great! Beds were comfy and the house was super clean. The outdoor area was wonderful!

We will absolutely be booking through them, and this property again in the future. The property manager was extremely communicative and helpful and guiding us as we prepared for our first family vacation with kids. He made great recommendations on where to go for certain items to make sure we had everything that we needed. Overall a great experience, great property, and great vacation!

I will start by saying that this was our 4th stay in South Florida via VRBO. Until now, the description of the property were pretty much spot-on. However, this time was a disappointing exception. The pictures do not tell the true story. First of all, the property needs an immediate renovation/renewal. The kitchen cabinets are falling apart, the paint is peeling all over the property, the appliances are at least 25 years old and the mattresses have lost all their firmness. The sofa and rug in the living room are worn out and haven’t been steam cleaned in years. If that was not enough, we found the property in FILTHY condition upon arrival - the kitchen was dirty, the cabinets and countertop were terribly greasy. The floors all over the house were sticky and the closets had so much dust in them, that we refrained from unpacking our belongings. The kitchen had rugs that had oil and grease stains. The shower in the master bedroom was clogged. I will note that when we contacted Jonathan, the property manager, he reacted swiftly and sent a cleaning crew and plumber the next day. The cleaners worked for 2-3 hours to clean the residence. We had them remove the rugs and cover the sofas with clean sheets. However, it should have not come to this. Finally, I will note that the outdoor facilities were gorgeous! The pool was clean and heated. I think that if the owner were to invest in renewing the house, it would be a true gem. Until then, this definitely NOT a premier property.

Nice neighborhood. Pool and backyard nicely set up. House worked well for our group.

House was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the backyard as it had lots of space. Short drive to the beach and able to walk to shops to get all of your groceries, etc. Property host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns.
