2 Golf Carts ~ Golf Course Views ~ Community Pool

The updated kitchen was beautiful...lots of great cooking utensils and pans, etc! Few issues...NO Extra pillows or blankets anywhere in the house....requested and got some within 224 hours though. There was no propane in the gas grill tank, so we had to go to the store instead of grilling for dinner.... Property management said they would reimburse us, so hopefully they will! Also, the battery in the igniter was dead, so another trip to the store to get batteries. Got locked out of the house as the batteries in the door died...fortunately, when we called, they said there was a lockbox hidden, so we did get in. It took about 24 hours to replace the batteries in the door. The house was lovely and we've stayed before, and would stay again! Golf carts work wonderfully and overall the house is Outstanding! Thanks for a lovely place to enjoy a week with family!

You can see the fireworks and drone show at the pier easily from the back porch/ patio or yard at the back of the house. Great patio and view. Kids caught fish right by the house and had fun. I would say the noise from upstairs is pretty load downstairs. If your a light sleeper sleep upstairs or feet moving on the second floor will wake you up. Make sure you take your own coffee filters, dish soap, sponge, salt, pepper etc. The house is set up so you can check in and then go shopping for what you need.

We especially like the screened porch and the view of the golf course when we could watch the golfers tee off. Only negative is that one of the golf carts was broke and had to be taken off to be repaired. We were without a cart for two days. We had to call a repairman to change a battery in a fire alarm. Need to move the thermostat to a location in the hall . Current location too close to door and window which places the temperature wrong and the AC runs all of the time making the living area too cold.

Washer & dryer were excellent. All beds and linens were very comfortable. Fridge ice machine doesn’t work so you’ll need to buy ice. Grill outside worked well. Dishwasher bottom tray needs work. Won’t roll in/out.The beach chairs and umbrellas and pool noodles and boards were all in Perfect shape and wonderful to use!!We had a great week here and would stay again! Thanks for supplying us with this beautiful home for the week.

The house cleanliness was sub par at best. The cabinets were sticky almost like syrup or other item spilled down the front? Walking in the door the shelving unit was dirty, dusty and not even wiped down. The floors on top of being cracked were dirty as well needing a serious deep cleaning almost like they ran a dust mop over them and never mopped or gave a good cleaning to. The house layout is also not the best for a larger group of people as the dining area was so tight that people could not easily get around without tripping over people or chairs. The outside area is nice and the beds and linens were clean but do have to say bathroom floors and cabinets could use some cleaning as well. Lastly the golf carts were not in good shape and one blew a tire due to the tire being bald and worn out. They also said they could not repair it since it happened on a Saturday morning and the tech could not come out until Monday. I cannot recommend properties managed My Vacation Haven if this is what they call acceptable for cleanliness and well maintained. Of all the places with VRBO I have stayed both foreign and domestic, this has been my oly bad experience.

Reviewer Comments: For the amount of money we spent to stay, I was disappointed. The first day we had to ask for box fans because it was hot upstairs and have someone look at the air.. we had to ask someone to come out twice to change batteries in front door keypad because they weren’t done the first time..the eminities like gym were an additional $100, no golf discounts etc. our grown kids rented a slingshot for 24 hours and the resort wouldn’t let them bring it in so they had to return it. There were 10 of us and there were Barbie sizedhand soap for kitchen, 2 dish tablets as well as toiletries that were supplied for a week & when I reached out about getting more dish soap, I was told they don’t supply extra. I have stayed in cheaper places that provided it all.. we had to buy our own toilet paper and paper towels also. The home is pretty and in a neat location but wouldn’t stay again. The people we corresponded with were very nice.

Great property.

We stayed here with 3 generations of family and 11 total guests and had a great stay. First the pros: House was well maintained and as seen in pictures, resort was great with tons to do for kids and adults. Great golf and a Great sun room which was perfect to watch the golfers and for the Tuesday night fireworks. I wouldn’t bother going to the down town for them as you can see them perfectly from this room. You can get around almost everywhere you could want with the golf carts which are a must for this resort. Cons: Further from the beach then we would like but you can see that from the listing so it’s as advertised. Pools and beach are very crowded and the resort takes all the good spots for umbrellas so you have to set your spot up behind about 5 rows of paid umbrellas. The biggest struggle for us though was trying to obey the hoa rules with “no parking in the grass/straw” just to be clear there is a driveway that can’t really hold the two golf carts and 2 cars so you have to park one at the center of the resort or risk an hoa fine. We didn’t get one but it was a struggle of constantly moving things around to make it work. It looks like this is one of the only houses without a garage in this section.

This property was nice enough. Big house, clean, small bedrooms, nice big bathrooms. Parking was the biggest inconvenience, there was 13 of us and only space for 1 car to park which made it very difficult for all of us. The downstairs air conditioner went out for 2 days but the gentleman who came to fix it did it quick and efficiently. We killed multiple roaches including the biggest one I've ever seen, we of course called the rental company and they offered to come spray but given we had a lot or children with us we declined. Golf carts are great and convenient if you're staying on the resort. Private beach access is a joke, there are so many people you cant relax or enjoy the beach because its absolute chaos. We tried going down early morning to get a spot and even going later in the day and nothing worked so we opted for a few pool days. Day before we left the front door lock stopped working and the internet went out, i called the property manager but no one came to fix it. Overall sandestin as a resort is nice and has everything you'd want in a vacation. My Haven as A rental company is lacking in communication. We went with multiple questions left unanswered or just ignored.
