2 Bedroom Townhouse w/Soaking Tub + Rain Shower

It was a very nice place .

From the moment we stepped in, it felt like our home away from home. Location is very serene and picturesque. If you are looking for an escape from your every day busy life, this is the place. The location is also perfect for short trips to Stockton, Elizabeth and even Dubuque Iowa!

The condo was exactly as pictured. The only issue was the bedside table in one of the bedrooms hadn’t been wiped down. The location is lovely. View of the stars at night is incredible!

This is the first time we’ve rented through VRBO and we found the process to be a bit more complicated and cumbersome than other platforms. This is a cute little place – perfect for 4 adults. We loved that both bedrooms had king-sized beds and that they both had celling fans. It was all very clean. The bathrooms have been beautifully renovated. The kitchen was well-equipped, but could use updating. The bench in the entry way was a nice touch – very helpful to have. The location is great – just 10 minutes into Galena and 35 minutes to Dubuque – lots to do in both places. All in all a good stay.

Everything was clean and in great shape. Excellent location, close to downtown and great golf courses. Communication was excellent, the host responded immediately to all questions. We would stay here again without hesitation.

The house was in amazing condition with very nice updated bathrooms on each floor. Everything was clean and it was nice that it's an end unit. The deck had great views of the hills, Forest and golf course. We'd definitely go back again!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and the place was adorable! Very clean and homey. There was great communication and check ins from Will. We loved how comfy the bed was! Would definitely stay again!

The condo was lovely. We especially enjoyed coffee on the deck, listening to birdsong. The nearby paved and unpaved trails were great for jogging and hiking. We loved having access to the swimming pool and fitness center at the owner’s clubhouse. Delightful stay!

Overall cleanliness of the property was immaculate. Both King size beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed every bit of our stay! The Welcome Handbook helped decipher our plans during our stay. Highly recommend this place to any small families visiting Galena, IL.

My husband and I came to Dear Galena for a long weekend with my sister and brother-in-law to celebrate my birthday and it was even better than the photos can depict! From the comfortable and modern finishings, to access to everything we wanted to do (or NOT to do :)), this place had it all. The hosts were impeccable, too, from early communications through the end, they made sure we were all well-cared for. The home is spotless and has all of the conveniences you need to enjoy a short or long stay. We'll recommend Dear Galena to others and hopefully return some day!

I was very pleased with the easy of check in and check out. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen ware. The host responded to my emails with questions almost immediately! It was an easy drive to the owners club and pool.

Except for the fact that we couldn't use the upstairs bathroom sink because of a crack in the sink, we would stay here again. The location was perfect, and the host answered our questions quickly.

Great communication from the host. Nice home. Appreciated the phone charger station and filtered water pitcher.
