From Harlingen, the ferry sails to the Wadden Islands of Vlieland and Terschelling, which are definitely worth a visit. Just 5 km from the holiday home is the town of Franeker, known from the Eleven Cities Tour. Visit the old town centre and the planetarium. Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, is 22 km from the holiday home. On cooler days, you can visit the Aeolus indoor playground with your children. This playground is only 5 kilometres away and offers a variety of activities. There is a lot to discover in the glass pyramid. The holiday home is about 7 km from the Bloemketerp indoor swimming pool in Franeker.
