2+ Bedroom Rambler on Big Bear Lake, 2 hours from Mpls, St Paul

Highly recommend this lake gem! House is bigger than it looks and has everything one needs. Host is very helpful and reliable with any questions that may come up. We are hoping to return next summer/fall with family. The renovated basement is a huge plus! Didn't want to leave.

This is our 4th time staying at Mike’s place, and as always, it’s a perfect getaway. We love the quiet lake, pontoon, and fishing. The basement is perfect for teens wanting their own space to hang out. Everyone (dogs included) loves playing around by the dock - great water clarity, and sandy lake bottom, with hardly any weeds. Excited to return next summer!

The hosts are so wonderful and responsive. This was our second stay, and we can’t wait to come back again! We love the Peter Pan cabin!

Really nice place to stay, nice kitchen and bathrooms. The pontoon is very nice for the kids to fish off of. Lots of wildlife to enjoy on a nice quiet lake.

This was our second time staying at this property. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The entire home is well appointed and has everything you should need, especially the kitchen. We caught some beautiful healthy looking sunfish/bluegills and one decent sized large mouth bass in the lake. Very likely we will rent this home again in the future!

The kids love the kayaks, paddle boards and pontoon. We love the space—it’s perfect. Lots of room for family activities and great private rooms for chilling out. The deck looking out at the lake is perfect for having breakfasts and suppers. Also worth noting is how well-stocked the kitchen is with pots, pans, plates and silverware. We love this cabin.

We stayed at the cabin with our adult children. It was a great weekend and the updates to the cabin are really nice. We enjoyed the pontoon ride and the kids thought the steering wheel was pretty cool. The reason for the 4 stars is that the housekeeper forgot to turn on the water heater before we arrived and my husband ended up having to do it. We also couldn't find a can opener.
