Welcome to BC Cabins

We hope you have an enjoyable and restful stay.  We have created a list of helpful things for you to know about your home away from home.  While you are here, please treat this cabin with respect as you would your own. 

Check-in/Check-out Times

Check-in not before 3pm unless other arrangements have been made and approved with the Host. Check-out is no later than 12 noon unless other arrangements have been made and approved with the Host. It is important to respect these times to avoid any inconvenience.

Parking, and Common area 

Please use the designated parking assigned to the unit you have rented, and any overflow parking must be in visitors area and not impede other guests. Common area is shared and for the safest possible way of presentation to all guests please respect it and other guests. 

Guests

Only the individuals listed on the reservation are allowed to stay at the Airbnb property. Hosts may charge an additional fee for additional guests.

Pets

We currently have one pet friendly cabin, arrangements need to be made prior to booking to allow for pets.  If you are staying in our pet friendly cabin your pet needs to always be on a leash while on the property.  Please clean up after your pets.  If you are going to be gone for the day your animal must be accompanied with you, we ask that you do not leave them behind.

Kitchen

We have tried to provide everything you may need. There are some basic day to day condiments and the local convenience store, Beaver Creek Market, is located just down the road about 3 minutes away. Please do not remove any kitchen items from the cabin.

Furnishings and appliances 

Please only use appliances as they are intended to be used, and please do not move or re-arrange the layout of the furnishings.

No smoking

There will be a strict no-smoking policy, on the property.  This includes cigarettes, vaping and marijuana. and guests are expected to abide by this rule. If you are found to be breaking this rule you will forfeit your entire damage deposit.

Cleanliness

All Airbnb guests are expected to keep the space clean and tidy during their stay. This includes cleaning up after themselves, disposing of trash properly, and leaving the space in the same condition as when they arrived. Please do not leave food items in fridge. 

Water 

Beaver Creek water improvement is city supplied water with its own pumphouse and filtration system which makes the water safe for drinking.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

There are extra pillows and blankets above the fridge for the hide abed, which has all sheets currently on the pull-out mattress. Mirrors have lights, and also defogging heater, please do not leave on when not in use. 

Sewage waste management system (SEPTIC)

We are on a septic system which is designed for standard home waste and things such as eg. Oils, baby wipes, condoms and feminine hygiene products can cause severe damage to the system.   PLEASE do not flush anything down the toilets other than toilet paper.

Lights, and Heat pumps 

Please turn off all lights, gas, when not in use, and do not adjust the heat pump units more than 1 to 2 degrees at a time as they are very efficient and the smallest adjustment will be notice within 20 -30 mins, and please reframe from leaving doors windows open. 

Noise 

It is important to be respectful of neighbors and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially during nighttime hours.

Damages

Guests are responsible for any damages they cause to the property during their stay and may be charged for repairs or replacements.

Illegal activities

Airbnb guests are not allowed to engage in any illegal activities on the property, also no recording of any promotional video or content without consent from the Host. 

Laundry 

Laundry is in a separate building and with limited access, all arrangements for laundry must be made with host. Please note there will be a fee associated with the use of the laundry house.

    This place is FABULOUS! New, clean, comfortable, well stocked, and quiet. We loved our two nights and wished we were staying longer. Clark, the host is very helpful and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this place.It is not right in town if you need that. It is in the woods but we loved that. It is about 1 1/2 hours to Tofino if that is one of your destinations.

    New, clean and well equipped. Also quite private which was nice. This was a great unit for us while staying in town for a week. No real issues other than a bit of a hot water problem with the showers but overall wasn't a big deal. Told owner about it and I am sure it will be rectified because the property is well cared for.

    Other than a hiccup with the hot water our first night (new construction, there’s going to be minor issues to work out), that was rectified very promptly and satisfactorily. Overall a quiet and comfortable stay.
