We would like to invite you to this 1856 year modern gem in historic downtown Jersey City.Light, festive, airy, and lovely! Private larger backyard and entire house. There are many upgrades mixed with old world charm and contemporary features. This one of a kind historical home is located literally 5 minutes from the heart of Manhattan! Enjoy family-friendly, quiet (yet fun!) Jersey City with the BEST of NYC minutes from your doorstep. Check the guidebook for all the local attractions within walking distance! We are a few blocks away from the PATH train station which runs to NYC 24/7.

I typically have my calendar available for one month at a time to prevent gaps in between. We can extend if you need more days.
You’ll be staying in your own fully-furnished house including WiFi, smart TV, and all utilities (cable TV available by inquiry for additional cost). The floor plan provides an open living space with a fully-equipped kitchen, living room, and bathroom, charming private larger backyard. The house is set up just for guests so it can truly feel like your home during your stay and there’s plenty of space to set up your laptop or stretch out on the couch. A window air conditioner is installed in the bedroom and nearly every room. This is an 1.4 million dollar urban NYC style row house. The House is a cozy, clean, and safe home away from home in mixed community. It is a fast commute to NYC in a vibrant neighborhood with terrific restaurants. During warm seasons, noise can be heard from successful restaurants on the block. Who knows, you may love it so much you decide to stay longer!

The space
You will have the entire house unit to yourself. That includes the living room, kitchen, and backyard as shown in my photos. This is a residential community. It is important that you respect the property rules and the other residents during your stay.
A modern, spacious 1-bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 living room , with a cozy, private backyard and a fully equipped kitchen. This is the perfect space for families, friends or couples looking to explore the tristate area.The lighting in this home is warm and relaxing. Drop your bags, kick your shoes off, and pop a seat in our home. We expect most of our guests to visit NYC everyday. After spending the whole day out, you can't ask for a better place
The home is basically over the actual PATH Subway.
Living room features a large window, a sofa, and a flat screen TV.
Fully equipped kitchen including a dining table that seats 6 .All the appliances and kitchenware to prepare home cooked meals

All bedrooms have super comfortable 10-13 inch mattresses

First Floor
For more entertainment, we have placed board games and puzzles in the dresser located in the living room on the first floor.
Second Floor
The bedrooms are located on the second floors with A queen bed and bunk bed.For five to six guests, we will provide One queen size bed, bunk bed and one sofa beds with fitting sheets, cover sheet
Back Yard
You will have the entire private backyard by your own and surrounding it with full original brick back then 1800s is very rare to find in the city. There are outdoor furniture as well for gathering and romance night
We take the health and safety of guests seriously. Between each stay, the house is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following guidance from the CDC. Cleaners wear protective garments (e.g., mask, gloves) and wipe surfaces, cabinet handles, door knobs, etc. with cleaning solutions that follow CDC guidance. All linens, dishware, glassware and silverware are also washed between stays. Cleaning products and tools are provided so you can clean and sanitize as well.
We require Hosts and Guests to wear masks during any in-person interaction.
The Neighborhood
Downtown Jersey City has so much to offer, super hip, fun, and safe. Everything you need is around the block, plenty of shops and eateries, restaurants, cafes.
Shopping mall, movie theater, supermarkets, park, library are walking distance.
It is a wonderful neighborhood for New York City commuters and travelers
When you stay at here, you are only:
3 Blocks from the Grove Path Train
1 Blocks from Downtown area (local shops and restaurants)
15 minutes walk to Hudson river waterfront.
7 Mins train ride to the WTC
18 Mins to 34th street, NYC
10 Min Drive to the Statue of Liberty ferry

2) Public Transportation:
You can use directions on your mobile device for updated info and time schedule. Plan it carefully; people don’t usually go with this option given the heavy luggage in the end it's probably not worth it.

It's a 15 min drive to Downtown New York City, 30 mins drive to Midtown. Depending on traffic/rush hours (give or take 5-10 mins)

The fastest, easiest, most popular way to NYC is by Path subway train
Closest Path train station is the Grove Street Path station, a less than 2 min walk (one short block) from my house
At this station, there're two trains going to NYC:
E2a) World Trade Center train:
This train makes two stops:
- Exchange Place (3 mins from Grove),
- World Trade Center (7 mins from Grove)
E2b) 33st train:
This train makes 4 stops:
- Newport (5 mins from Grove),
- Christopher, NYC (10 mins from Grove),
- 9th street, NYC (12 mins from Grove),
- 14 street, NYC (14 mins from Grove),
- 23rd street,NYC (16 mins from Grove),
- 33rd Street (18 mins from Grove)
From any of these stations in NYC, you can walk or easily catch one of the MTA (NYC) subway trains to get around the city. New York City has the most robust and convenient subway system in the world.

Guest access
Guests will be provided key access one the day they arrive. Guests have access to the entirety of the unit and private backyard ( very hard to find in downtown and nyc area). My address will be visible once your booking is confirmed.

We’re in the heart of historic downtown Jersey City, one short block, literally a one minute walk to the subway train station. houses are conveniently located in the desirable Jersey City neighborhood, easy commute to New York City, super safe, relaxing yet hip and fun.

Other things to note
1.PRIOR TO ARRIVAL ALL GUESTS MUST VERIFY IDENTIFICATION. HOST SHOULD BE PROVIDED WITH A 1 SELFIE PHOTO PER GUEST CONTAINING THEIR FACE HOLDING A GOVERNMENT I.D. BESIDE IT. THE ALTERNATE OPTION WOULD BE EACH INDIVIDUAL GUEST, PER GROUP SHOULD HAVE AN AIRBNB PROFILE. THEY NEED TO VERIFY THE GOVERNMENT I.D. ON THEIR AIRBNB PROFILE. MAIN BOOKING GUEST SHOULD THEN INVITE EACH GUEST TO THE RESERVATION SO THE HOST CAN CONFIRM EACH GUEST IS ACCOUNTED FOR. HOST RESERVES THE RIGHT TO IDENTIFY GUESTS DURING THEIR STAY. REFUSAL TO DO SO, IF ASKED VIA AIRBNB, WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF RESERVATION.
The property requires identity verification on all guests age 18 years and older. Please enter the name and email address of anyone 18 years old or older who will be staying in the house as an additional occupant in the Airbnb app and UPLOAD EACH ADULT’S GOVERNMENT-ISSUED ID.
We do this in an effort to keep our listing and its belongings safe, secure, insured, and accounted for. We have had big issues with unverified guests before. In order to keep hosting our beautiful home this is our new personal policy. If you have questions about this, we are more than willing to explain it further. 2. Supplies
Please note we provide supplies (paper towels, toilet papers, soap) for the first few days only. We do this to keep our cost and ion rate low hope you understand.
3.In the event the Airbnb guest will like to request anything additional other than what we mentioned about, there will be an additional fee of $20 per day you will be staying in the house. Any additional fees will be submitted to Airbnb as extra charge.
There was a water leak. I could not get the email to work to tell the owner. But the orange water pipe knob had a leak next to the fold out couch. Stairs were so steep both kids fell and hurt themselves.
