Point Pleasant Resort- Amazing Ocean Views Villa with large patio!

The property was as state on VRBO. It was a perfect location for what we were looking for and the interior was as we expected. We have no problem walking hills to and from the unit, but if you have problems walking this unit may not for you. Overall we love it.

Our Stay in D-4 was amazing the views are stunning a the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the property very much. The only down side was the stairs were a lot to get down the mountain but we just called for a shuttle on the property a brought us down to avoid all the stairs. Also the roof leaked in one spot in the villa but wasn’t a deal breaker for us cause it only rained a couple times during the week we were there. Would definitely stay again very happy with our stay

The view was amazing and the front desk staff was very helpful in getting us cabs and picking us up to come to the lobby. I gave the communication a 3 because we never received an email telling us how to check in and any specifics about check in/out. It was easy once we communicated with front desk but i think this should have been sent before us arriving there.

A jewel of a find. Walk to best snorkeling beach, 2 great restaurants on property, breathtaking views. Mountain pathways are meticulously maintained - prepare for steps! Staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. We will return for longer!

This was the second time staying in d4 and we loved it

Loved our view. Felt safe. Awesome restaurant! Wonderful kind staff. Walked to and snorkeled Coki beach first. Pizza at sapphire beach. Close to redhook. Very easy place to stay. Unit D4 was great! Don’t pet the cat-it will forever follow you and meow at your door day and night. Nice bar and pool. Get a jeep! Charter a boat! Loved sunset grille at secret harbor as well but chose to eat at our restaurant mostly. Also: don’t try to make your own food-it’s so expensive on island-you’d be better eating out and it’s just part of the island experience! Would definitely stay again.

The property is very beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in Unit D4 and it presented exactly as photographed. It was the perfect size for the two of us. This unit is a corner unit with an unobstructed view of the water from both the balcony and the interior through the double sliding glass doors. Even from the king size bed in the elevated bedroom, we could watch the sunrise each morning to start our day. The furniture is comfortable and modern. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed (including an abundance of coffee filters left by previous guests). There was only one kitchen hand towel and the coffee maker leaked if we put water in the night before -- hopefully those two things are addressed by the staff. The bathroom had ample space and plenty of hot water. The property staff was very friendly and helpful. The guards at the gate were always smiling and joking with us as we came and went. The office staff was helpful and provided some thick quality beach towels for our use, so no need to pack those bulky things from home. We are a very active fit couple, so walking the hills on the resort property was not an issue for us but we could see how other people may not like the hills. As for communication, we initially had some difficulty getting a response from the resort when using the VRBO messaging feature. I ultimately used the resort's Facebook page to send messages to them and received prompt responses. Seemed to be a glitch with VRBO, not the resort. We were on island to explore, to hike, to enjoy the beaches and water and to immerse ourselves into the local culture. Thus, we did not use the three pools on the resort property but they did look nice and well maintained. The small beach at the edge of the property is nice for a short stint, with a few lounge chairs provided, but it is not a beach to spend much time on. The resort is located just five minutes from Red Hook and the ferries to St. John. It is also an easy drive (remember, stay left) to the north side of the island and it's attractions. For the price, the view and the location, this is an excellent choice for your vacation stay. We would stay here again, without doubt.

My husband and I spent the first half of our honeymoon in this gorgeous condo with a breathtaking view of the water. The bed was wonderful, the bathroom was wonderful, the living room was wonderful, the kitchen was... you guessed it, wonderful! I LOVED this condominium. I loved the people at check-in, I loved Shoreline Grill and Mirador (two restaurants on property). The only thing I didn't love was the steep climbs required to get back to my condo. Point Pleasant did have a shuttle available up until 6 pm each day but after that unless you were taking a taxi from somewhere off property, you had to hike to get to the condo. One night we were lucky enough to hail a golf cart that took us back to our condo. Despite the nightly hikes from Shoreline or Mirado, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return! It was an amazing place!
