The property needs some work. Front storm has big gap so we were not able to leave open to create cross vent. Refrigerator was clean but front freezer door is moldy. An unbrella for the deck would be nice so the deck could be used more during the day.

The location of this property was great! Things to note if renting: The kitchen was fully stocked. You do need to bring your own linens/towels. Bring dishwasher soap/laundry detergent/paper towels / toilet paper and a cleaning spray. Bring water shoes for beaches. One bedroom has an air conditioner the other two can be cooled with ceiling fans and keeping all doors open to let air conditioning to go in the rooms. Short walk to a rocky beach and a ten minute walk to boardwalk and sandy beach. At the end of the boardwalk there is a sandy area that is great for toddlers to swim and build sand castles during low tide. The bigger ocean side beach is great for low tide! Sandy neck beach and scusset beach reservation are both short rides.

We really enjoyed renting this house. It is spacious with great high ceilings, ceiling fans in all rooms, and two window air conditioners. We vacation on the Cape annually, but have never stayed in Sandwich. It was such a great town, close to the bridge, so you avoid all the traffic. Being able to bring our dogs was amazing and there are so many places to walk. The house is easily walkable to 2 beaches, the kids loved it!! Restaurants and Sandwich downtown are also a walk away. Highly recommend The Pilot House for lunch or dinner. Thank you for a great stay- we will be back!

This was a very nice home in a charming neighborhood. It was in a good location to walk to the rocky beach and picturesque boardwalk. The home was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. For some reason, I wasn't aware that the home didn't provide bed sheets, towels, soap or back up toilet paper so we were shocked upon arrival. Unfortunately my husband was extremely upset and it made the whole arrival very unpleasant. I have seen adds where the words Linens and Towels were crossed out so I knew better not to rent those properties since we needed them to be provided. Fortunately, the property management helped us out with the sheets and towels. I don't know what I would have done without their help. They said they e-mailed me a week before arrival to bring these items but I had already left for our trip and didn't get the notification in time. Over all the property itself was great, but if you're looking for a sandy beach to spend your vacation by, the beach in Sandwich was made up of billions of rocks and might not be the beach you were dreaming of. We did take home a nice collection of rocks though. If you don't mind traveling with blankets, sheets, towels, toilet paper and soaps, this was a lovely home.

We enjoyed our stay! It was a great location, close to the beach and canal. We brought our dog who adapted nicely. We liked that there was a bedroom on the first floor so we could keep an ear out for her at night. You can’t beat the location and the neighborhood. We took some nice walks around the neighborhood and to the beach in the morning with the kids and dog. The house was equipped nicely in the kitchen and it was a nice space for our family. There were a few negatives to mention. The twin beds were not very comfortable downstairs. The house only had 2 A/C units, one downstairs, one in the upstairs bedroom which was not efficient to cool down all the rooms. We ended up moving people into one bedroom upstairs and in the downstairs bedroom we had to use fans. It would have been better if there were more A/C units to cool down the whole house. The cable was very basic and only got a few channels. The last night there we opened the windows to let the cool air in to discover that all the 1st floor windows were unlocked. The blankets provided were small throw blankets so we had to go out and purchase our own. Other than that it was a great experience and we would probably stay here again for the location and knowing it can accommodate our whole family including the dog.

This was a great house to stay in for a week on the Cape. There are two beaches within walking distance and many restaurants and stores close by. It was a great place for our group and we loved hanging out on the back porch. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Would definitely come back again!

We rented 18 Knott for Spring Break. This is a pet friendly home that provided easy access to everything we wanted to do, plus provided a great location to escape up to Boston for the day. The house was very spacious for our family of 4 and dog. It has a bedroom and full bath on the main floor which would be convenient for someone that can’t do stairs. Great deck for enjoying the sunsets. It is in a great walkable community with restaurants, beach access, and the boardwalk. We made day trips to Hyannis, Provincetown, and Wood Hole....all an easy drive,
