17 Mi to Skiing! Lake-View Michigan Home w/ Deck

The highlight was the amazing view of Lake Michigan! It was a wonderful place to be snowed in during winter advisory weather our entire stay. Although a bit dated, the house was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, snow plow services were timely. As it was quite windy, the power went off for about 30 minutes. I would suggest bringing a lantern for backup.

It's a nice place , well maintained, clean

Everything was nice . They just needed to add shampoo in the toilets (already equipped with conditioners and body lotion). I have few points to mentions- The host gave us instructions to get to the property. Follow that . Don’t follow google maps. The entrance can be tricky- We used the grill and we had everything we needed to get that completed- There is coffee machine but there was no sugar or creamer. There was herbal tea bags too- Make sure you go to the nearby beach . It is amazing. You probably need your car to get there. Not a walking distance. - The property is very suitable for families. Spacious and clean . - the one thing you can’t guarantee is Michigan weather , but if it is bad there is few activities you can enjoy at the house itselfRecommended .

The house was beautiful along with the area. Great little shops just down the road. Homeowner was very attentive when there was a problem. He responded quickly and because it couldn’t be fixed he sent a gift certificate. That was much appreciated. We will be back!

This lovely place was very welcoming with a doe and 2 fawn greeting us as we drive in. The view of the lake over the tree tops was superb. The kitchen was the best stocked rental we’ve ever had; no work arounds needed. The bedrooms were generous and the furniture was comfy.

The home was perfect for our group of five and our pet. It was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans, along with spices but no condiments or other perishables.

My wife and I stayed there with her parents and grandparents and our puppy. The property was perfect for us - it had easy access and a fantastic view and deck for relaxing at the house. It’s not too close to town so be ready to drive, but the area is beautiful and it’s great for a relaxing vacation. Our puppy also sniffed out quite a few random objects under couches and the coffee maker broke but the communication was strong and we got a new one and the stay was fantastic!

This property was such a peaceful retreat for our family—an abundance of wildlife, outstanding lake views, and spacious accommodations. It is everything we needed and more! The property is clean, well-stocked, and private! Communication from Evolve (property management) and the owner were spot on. If I have one critique, it would be the description of beach access. There was access to a nice, quiet beach, but I wouldn’t consider it walkable. The distance is correct, but the road to get there wasn’t exactly enticing. There is suppose to be a path from the property, but we didn’t see it due to vegetation growth. It was however a quick 5 minute drive to the nearest beach, which was lovely. Also, not to be missed close by: Tunnel of Trees Trillium Woods Coffee Shop Good Hart General Stores All in all, I highly recommend this property. It was a great stay!

This is an idyllic getaway for families. Lots of space Beautifully decorated. Lots of kitchen items. Beaches are close. Lots of things to do, both on and off the gorgeous property. Very secluded. Your cell reception may be spotty but we were there to getaway!!! Find me a place in Northern Mi where it isn’t. Even if it’s high season, you will feel as though you’ve left the world behind. Follow the great directions carefully, NOT GPS. It was a challenge for us in the dark, late, after driving 10 hours. ( We followed gps first. ?) The long drive is a gravel road. I’m ready to move in!! If only my kids could move with us!!!

Secluded tree top level views of Lake Michigan, Deer all around. Large deck affords relaxing views across the entire length of the home.
